I went to Wolfgang's Steakhouse. I was taken there by my senior. It was really great. The restaurant, located in the Marunouchi underground, had four women standing at the reception. I was surprised and they took my coat. Apparently, they take your coat at the reception so it doesn't smell like food. As I reflected on my life, I realized that I had never had an experience where a beautiful woman took my coat before. I was then guided to my table. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was pleasant and lively. Despite being a high-end restaurant, there was no uncomfortable tension, just a good vibe. Even though I hadn't tasted any dishes yet, I would rate my satisfaction at around 4 stars at this point. Now, let's talk about the food. First, the bread arrived. The bread was delicious. Honestly, the bread alone could inspire a whole book. There were about four types of bread in the basket. I didn't know the names, but there was black bread, hard bread, and round bread. When eaten with the accompanying butter, the sweetness of the wheat spread throughout the mouth. I recently watched a movie called "How Do You Live?". It's quite abstract and open to various interpretations, leading to different opinions from viewers. In other words, there are as many interpretations as there are people, and the work expands with each person's interpretation. The bread at Wolfgang's Steakhouse was like that. The sweetness spread throughout the mouth, connecting to the world. It was that kind of bread. Next came the shrimp, crab, and lobster. Just one word, the texture was outstanding. It's hard to express because there's no comparison in the past. If I were to compare, it would be like a rubber band. Remember playing with those thin brown rubber bands as a child? Imagine gathering those rubber bands in both hands and biting down hard. The teeth would be met with incredible elasticity, bouncing back and potentially knocking your jaw off. But what if those rubber bands started snapping one by one just one second after you bit down? If you endured for that one second, your jaw muscles wouldn't be overpowered by the rubber band's elasticity, and then, the best moment would come. How many people throughout history have wished for such rubber bands? Unfortunately, those rubber bands don't exist. Or do they? That's Wolfgang's lobster. Next came the salad. Modest vegetables with bacon that resembled Ghibli meat, topped with a nice cheese, and finally, the waiter would sprinkle black pepper on top. I don't usually eat salads, but the typical image of a salad is just an appetizer. Certainly not the main dish. That's what I thought, but it was different. Wolfgang's salad is already the main character. It's just that it's Wolfgang's, so it's content being an appetizer, but in any other restaurant, it would definitely be the main character. It's like Matsumoto from Slam Dunk. He's the ace but is overshadowed by Sawakita in Shoyo, so he's letting go of the ace position, but in any other team, he would undoubtedly be the ace. Wolfgang's salad is already Matsumoto. Next came the soup. It was an orange-colored soup with the lobster from earlier. My brain seemed to have stopped working, and I couldn't understand it very well. But that was the best part. I didn't understand it well, but it was delicious. That was enough. I think it was sweet. Maybe it was spicy because there was black pepper on top. Probably around that time, I thought my stomach was full. And then, it arrived. The main meat. A thick piece of meat, maybe 3cm, no, maybe even 5cm thick? The best meat that everyone thinks of, Ghibli meat. It surpassed that. I bit into the thickest, uncharted meat in my life. For a moment, I couldn't keep up with understanding. The supreme thickness was accompanied by the utmost tenderness. People tend to predict a certain amount of the future based on their experiences. Even with food, there's a conscious or unconscious prediction of how the texture and taste of a particular food will be. I think somewhere in my mind, I predicted a decent level of chewiness for the supreme thickness. However, the supreme thickness was accompanied by the utmost tenderness.
