Near the Todoroki Daigaku Station, there used to be an Italian restaurant called Match Cucina, but now it has been replaced by a Hawaiian restaurant. Intrigued by the impressive parfait featured on the menu board outside with photos, we decided to give it a try. While they also offered reasonably priced plate lunches, we opted for individual dishes. The BBQ chicken, available in full or half size, was ordered as a half size for ¥1,300. It was a substantial portion, perfect for two people. The chicken was tender and slightly sweet in flavor. The garlic shrimp, priced at ¥1,480 for 10 pieces, featured large shrimp in a unique sweet sauce, which was a favorite of my companion. The seafood yakisoba for ¥980 had thick noodles with a sweet sauce, though I wish the noodles were a bit chewier. The overall sweetness of the dishes seemed to be a Hawaiian characteristic. The Tropical Passion Parfait for ¥1,380 was also generous in size, with a mix of soft serve and mango passion fruit ice cream, topped with a tart illico sauce and various textures like bananas. The white wine at ¥280 per glass was very affordable and easy to drink. The Original Coffee for ¥450 and Premium Coffee for ¥590 were both tried, with the Premium having a glossier appearance and stronger acidity, but I personally preferred the Original. The restaurant's specialty seems to be their hand-blended, freshly grilled hamburgers, so I look forward to trying them next time. Other menu items include Loco Moco, pizza, pasta, and a kids' plate. The individual dishes offer a choice of sizes, making it easy to customize for your group size. There is outdoor terrace seating available, as well as several indoor tables and a single sofa table. The service staff were friendly and the restaurant was crowded during weekend lunch hours. Overall, the prices were reasonable, excluding tax.
