・3 types (1,800 yen) ✔️ Chicken Curry (Ginger) ✔️ Mutton Curry ✔️ Seafood Curry ・Hot Chai (300 yen) Visited at 3.65 when the restaurant was open. ・Bar Collect operates on a rental basis, so the opening days are unique. ・Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays ・Open for lunch from Thursday to Monday ・Open for lunch and dinner on Mondays only Visited at 18:10 on a weekday. No customers when arrived, 2 customers arrived after, and 1 takeaway order. Curry served at 18:19. Menu consists of 3 types that change depending on the day. ○ Chicken Curry (Ginger) The ginger is strong and stimulating as indicated. At the end, butter is added with ginger and cardamom for tempering. ○ Mutton Curry Slightly tastes like mutton. The gravy has a nice acidity, and the tender mutton is delicious. ・Seafood Curry Small portions due to the 3 types, but includes plenty of oysters, firefly squid, etc., with a good seafood broth. The base has a coconut flavor. This seafood curry was served piping hot. ・In addition to the 3 types, there was dal on the side. Perhaps intentionally served cold. I personally thought it would be tastier served warm. ・The small bean-like side dish had a firm texture and interesting flavor. ・The hot chai after the meal had a moderate sweetness and was calming. Each of the 3 types had their own unique flavors but were all exceptionally delicious curries. I particularly liked the Chicken Ginger and Mutton curries and would like to visit again on a Monday night. It was a delicious meal. Thank you.

Arriving at 11:00 on Sunday, the shutter was half open with 2 customers already waiting. By 11:30, there were about 30 people lined up just before the store opened. The opening time that day was 11:40. Inside the store, there are 4 counter seats, 3 tables for 2 people each, and an outside counter where 2 people can also sit, accommodating a maximum of 12 people. If dining alone, you will have a table to yourself without sharing. Orders for the first 3 customers were served promptly (around 7-8 minutes), this time with a combination of 3 types of curry with extra rice and a hot spring egg. The beautifully arranged dishes on the plate were a delight to look at.
- Spicy Keema Curry: Not very spicy, but with a nice fragrance of Japanese pepper. It had plenty of minced meat, making it a satisfying curry.
- Lamb & Beef Curry: Strong meat flavors with a hint of sweetness from a large amount of onions, creating a harmonious blend with the spices.
- Mackerel Curry with Bonito Broth and Coconut: A unique taste among the 3 curries. Initially surprising, but as you continue eating and add some sudachi (citrus fruit), the flavor profile changes drastically. A truly delicious and outstanding curry.
- Mixing the 3 curries with the hot spring egg: Mixing the flavors together, the mackerel curry's broth enhances the overall harmony, creating an incredibly delicious combination. However, each curry is so well-seasoned that it is recommended not to mix them from the start.
Overall, it is a fantastic curry restaurant where you can have a wonderful dining experience. The menu changes regularly, so I am looking forward to visiting again. Please note that serving times may be significantly longer after the first 3-4 customers. You may have to wait for over 20 minutes after entering, so it is advisable to arrive at the restaurant around 11:00 if you want to eat before noon.

⭐️I posted a photo on my Instagram story ⭐️ This time, I visited a curry restaurant that a follower had posted and it looked very delicious! It is similar to Half Moon in Ginza and Honkatori in Ochanomizu. (For those who have never been, please try it out!)
【Date】9/23
【Time】11:30
【Reservation/Crowdedness】No reservation⇒Arrived at 11:30 and had to wait for the second round for 30 minutes⇒If you arrive at 11:00, you can definitely get in for the first round⇒If you arrive by 13:30, you can definitely eat

◎Combination of B+C Curry
B is Lamb Curry (see image)⇒The lamb meat is tender and delicious without any strong smell!⇒It is spicy

◎Thai Rice⇒The Thai rice was fluffy and went well with the smooth curry sauce, very delicious!⇒You can choose the amount of rice, so it's reassuring for female customers
◎A is Sancho Keema Curry⇒I only had one bite, but the richness and spiciness were exquisite and very delicious (I might order this next time)

I ordered a combination of keema, mutton, chicken, and tuna coconut curry. All three types were high quality. The side of bonito achar was also high quality. The original spiciness was mild, but it allowed me to appreciate the high level of the curry. The satisfaction comes from the high quality of the sauce and the generous amount of well-flavored meat and fish ingredients. I was able to find a new restaurant that suits my taste after a long time. Currently, it is my top curry restaurant in Tokyo. However, please note that the combination of three types may be a bit heavy for women or those with small appetites due to the generous amount of meat and fish.

ABC's curry with less rice is simply irresistible and delicious. Harudamon never disappoints. It's perfect for those who love Sri Lankan cuisine and gluten-free options. I would love to visit this curry restaurant again and again. Just a tip, they open at 11:30, so I lined up 15 minutes early.

Three types of curry, priced at ¥1800, with straw-grilled bonito achaar for ¥400 and a small, cold chai for ¥300. The chicken curry is cooked until the chicken is so tender it falls apart, with a gentle and delicious flavor. It would be great with regular Japanese rice as curry rice. The pork curry is slightly sweet with a rich roux and pork belly, complemented by the acidity of tomatoes. The soup curry is spicy with a thin, flavorful broth enhanced by various dashi stocks, particularly seafood dashi. The bonito achaar is slightly spicy and pairs surprisingly well with curry. Each curry, side dish, and achaar are well-executed and delicious, offering depth of flavor in each dish. While the best way to enjoy them is subjective, I personally found that savoring each curry separately without mixing them was ideal.

A popular curry restaurant located in front of Yoyogi-Kamiyama Station, which operates as a sublease in a bar called Collect. The interior has a bright and stylish bar-like atmosphere. The curry menu changes daily, offering gluten-free, low GI, and body-friendly options. It is recommended to order a set of three to try different flavors, all of which are unique and delicious. The curries are rich in spices and broth, making it hard to stop eating once you start. Despite the elaborate atmosphere, the service is friendly and welcoming, making it easy to visit alone or with a group. It seems suitable for dates or outings with female friends. Since the restaurant has irregular holidays, it is recommended to check their Instagram for operating hours. There is often a line during lunch hours, and they may run out of food later in the day, so be mindful of that.

I visited a curry restaurant called Nanamae-mae, located about a 30-second walk from Yoyogi-Uehara Station, South Exit 1. I arrived at 11:15, thinking I didn't need to line up too early based on reviews, but there were already 3 people waiting. The restaurant, with a nondescript exterior, was a bit hard to find, but the line of people and the sign made it clear. By the time they opened for weekend lunch at 11:30, there were 13 people waiting. The interior had counter seats and tall tables. I ordered the "All Toppings" option which included spicy ghee chicken curry, lamb keema saag curry, and anchovy dashi soup keema dal curry, along with 3 side dishes. Everything was delicious. The spicy ghee chicken curry had a perfect level of heat and spice, while the lamb keema saag curry was flavorful and rich. The anchovy dashi soup keema dal curry was a unique combination of anchovy and spices that surprisingly worked well together. Mixing the curries together enhanced the flavors even more. Overall, the curries were not oily and were light and satisfying. Great meal!

After completing the challenge of visiting the top 100 curry restaurants on Tabelog, I have been exploring highly-rated restaurants to find my favorite spots. Despite the sweltering heat, I visited this highly-rated restaurant for the first time on a Friday afternoon. The restaurant is located in Tokyo, Shibuya-ku, and I arrived at 11:18 AM to find 4 people waiting outside. The restaurant opened 30 minutes late, but I managed to secure a seat at the counter. The menu featured Spicy ghee chicken curry, Lamb keema saag curry, and Niboshi dashi soup keema. I ordered a combination of all three dishes with a normal portion of rice. The curries were delicious, with the Spicy ghee chicken curry being flavorful and perfectly spiced, the Lamb keema saag curry having a nice texture and rich lamb flavor, and the Niboshi dashi soup keema being a complex mix of flavors. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would definitely consider revisiting for a different curry dish in the future. Thank you for reading till the end! Your support through likes, follows, saving the restaurant, and comments would be greatly appreciated as it motivates me for future endeavors.

The restaurant is located right by Yoyogi-Uehara Station exit, with great accessibility. I arrived 30 minutes before opening and found a line of 3 people already waiting. The restaurant was full when it opened. I ordered the 3-item set for 1800 yen. - Tomato Butter Chicken: A classic butter chicken dish, although I wish it had a bit more tomato flavor. - Lamb Keema Cheese Korma: This was my favorite, with plenty of minced lamb meat, spicy and flavorful. - Fish Vindaloo: This dish had a strong sourness and was the spiciest among the three. The chunks of bonito added a nice touch. The shaba-style curry went well with the basmati rice. Overall, I enjoyed the meal very much. After finishing, I saw there were still about 10 people waiting in line.

I visited the restaurant after work. Normally they only open for lunch, but on Monday nights they have dinner time as well. Luckily, I made it in time for their dinner service. The restaurant is located right in front of the south exit of Yoyogi-Uehara station! When I entered the restaurant, all the counter seats were taken, so I sat at a table. I ordered the following dishes with a small portion of rice: a. Original Chicken Green Curry b. Lamb Keema Cheese Korma c. Saba Vindaloo. The Chicken Green Curry had a strong aroma as soon as I entered the restaurant. It had a good balance of herb fragrance, spiciness from green chili, and the presence of chicken thigh meat. The Lamb Keema had a spicy aroma from the Sichuan pepper salt, and I really enjoyed it. Lastly, the Saba Vindaloo had a hint of vinegar but not too sour, which was perfect for me as I'm not a fan of sour flavors. I mixed the Dal Curry, which had a gentle flavor, with the spiciest Thai curry and enjoyed it. The amount of rice was just right for me. I finished my meal with a cold chai. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a delicious restaurant so close to the Odakyu Line, which I don't usually ride. Thank you for the meal!

I was always curious about this temporary curry shop! I've been to the bar at night before. I arrived at Yoyogi-Uehara station around 12 o'clock and was thinking about what to have for lunch. There were about 5 people in line, so I decided to wait in line. The shop is not very spacious, so they can't accommodate many customers. Since I had been to the bar at night, I already knew the atmosphere of the shop. It's a very cozy place. I ordered the 3 kinds of curry set with regular rice. A.B.C 3 kinds of curry set for 1800 yen. I enjoy spicy food, so I really enjoyed it, but according to the staff, C is a bit spicy. I love curry and have been to many places, but I'm not really good with this kind of variety of curry. However, it was delicious and easy to eat, with no strong flavors. Every curry I tried was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I added a side of lassi to my A+C set. The green curry in A was not very spicy but had a strong spice flavor, which was delicious. The C dish was a bit spicy. I had never tried tuna curry before, so it was a fresh experience! The portion was a bit large, so I felt that it would have been fine with less rice.

On a certain Saturday, I arrived around 11:00, expecting a line as the opening time was 11:30. The shutter was partially open, so I called to confirm and was told they would open around 11:40. I explored the Yoyogi-Uehara area and returned at 11:20 to find about 5 groups already in line. Luckily, I managed to enter. There are about 17 seats, but 3-4 were not functional due to items placed on them, so realistically there are about 12 seats available. I ordered the Chicken Green, Lamb Keema, and Tuna Cheek Meat Kashmir Curry. The rice was Thai rice. Hmm... this is definitely a matter of personal preference. It's crucial to like lamb and tuna cheek meat, and even before considering the curry spices, I found it a bit tough to enjoy. People who like it will absolutely love it. It's reminiscent of the old Yamu Shimokitazawa taste.

Visited "Halda Monk Curry" located just a 1-minute walk from Yoyogi Koen Station. It seems like it could be one of the top curry shops in the area. They operate as a bar during lunch hours only. Arrived 10 minutes before opening on a weekday and was second in line. Managed to enter as soon as they opened. There was already a line of about 10 people by opening time. On weekends, the line seems to be much longer, but on weekdays it wasn't too bad! Ordered the Original Chicken Green Curry and the Lamb Keema Korma combination for 1,600 yen. It was served in about 15 minutes. It was essentially a sampler with a bit of Dal curry included. The Chicken Green Curry had a refreshing flavor of coriander and lemongrass, with the richness of coconut milk. The chicken was tender and delicious. The Lamb Keema had the savory taste of coarsely ground lamb meat blended with spices, which was also delicious. Finished off with mixing all the curries together, along with the acidity of the Achar. It was delicious until the very end.

■Restaurant Information
Located just a short walk from Yoyogi-Uehara Station, this curry restaurant primarily serves lunch, but they also offer dinner on Mondays. I went there for dinner and ordered the following curries. The owner even took a photo because my order was a bit unusual!
■What I Ate
▶︎A + B + C ¥1800
- Chicken Curry without Water
- Spicy Meat Keema
- Squid Ink Seafood Curry
▶︎Warayaki Bonito Achaar ¥350
▶︎Sesame Soy Sauce-marinated Amberjack ¥350
▶︎Dr. Natto ¥250
▶︎Pineapple Lassi ¥400
The food arrived in about 20 minutes. The curries had a trendy spice curry flavor. Everything was delicious, but my personal favorite was the Squid Ink Seafood Curry. The richness of the squid ink and the umami of the seafood were fantastic. The side dishes were plentiful, so the portion size was great. The lassi was a bit small for its price, so it might have been unnecessary. If you're a fan of spice curry, definitely give this place a try!

We visited a mosque nearby with two friends before our tour. It was a very hot day, but luckily the mosque was right in front of the station, so we arrived quickly. We had to wait for about 30 minutes before being seated, as there were three groups ahead of us. The seating was by the window, which was open and not air-conditioned, so it was very hot inside. We ordered two types of curry (keema and saag) as we had come all this way. I wish we could have ordered a three-curry platter if we could finish it. We also ordered apple chai, which I forgot to take a photo of, but it was unique. The saag curry was delicious as I love the combination of spicy curry and fish. The keema curry was also very tasty, with no unpleasant smell. There was a lot of achaar on top, which added to the flavor. The portion was so generous that we couldn't finish all the rice, which was a shame. Overall, the food was delicious, and I definitely want to come back for more!

Today's lunch was at Harudamon Curry, where I had three types of curry with extra rice. It was incredibly delicious. Thank you for the meal. In the evening, I went to a bar that also serves as an izakaya called Otona no Izakaya Nakatogawa on the second floor of the same building. I love this place too. #HarudamonCurry #YoyogiueharaLunch #Yoyogiuehara #SpicyCurry

Weekend visit to L.O. just in time, some items were already sold out, but I'm glad I got to eat. Fish Colombo Curry for 1300 yen (comes with rice, a small portion of 160g). Served on one plate, with a cute quail egg topping in the middle. The fish used is "sawara," with fairly large pieces that give a satisfying bite. The taste is a good balance of tamarind acidity and coconut flavor, with a spicy kick. It's not very spicy, but still enough to make your mouth tingle. Side dishes include green beans, zucchini, dal, and onion achar. You mix them together like a meal. I thought it might have a mild flavor from the appearance, but the taste is well-defined and delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I was originally planning to go to a different restaurant, but ended up at Yoyogi-Uehara because the other one was closed. I ordered the Lamb Korma and Fish Mappas with onsen tamago. Both dishes were so delicious that I was surprised. I usually don't like spicy curries, but these were amazing. If you like spicy curries, you should definitely go here. I will probably visit this place regularly. Thank you for the meal!

I visited "Harudamon Curry" in front of Yoyogi-Kamiyama Station for the first time. The lunch hours are only on Fridays to Sundays, and there is always a line, so it's a popular spot. After finishing a meeting with gourmet friends, I happened to pass by and saw that there were only a few people waiting before opening, so I decided to line up. I ordered the "A+B+C" curry, which includes all three types of curry available that day. Just to give you an idea, A is Veggie Chicken Curry, B is Beef Stew Beef Curry (Nihari-style), and C is Fish Mapas (Coconut Milk Salmon Curry). I used to prefer Western-style curry, but in recent years, I have also come to enjoy spicy curries. The combination of spices in this curry is complex but well-balanced. It's a great option for spice lovers. Another popular spot for spicy food in this area is "Spice Potato" near Yoyogi-Koen Station, so alternating between the two could be a good idea. Thanks for the delicious meal!
