Ikebukuro Station West Exit, at the end of Romance Street on the first floor. This was my first visit here as I had heard that they offer a good yakiniku lunch at a reasonable price. They have both cooked and self-grilled options, and even cold noodles available even in winter. I called to inform them that I would be 15 minutes late for my reservation, and they kindly assured me that it was okay. I ended up being almost 25 minutes late, but they still greeted me warmly and said it was fine. I was seated in a private room for four people. The menu mostly consists of items in the 1000 yen range, with an option to add 300 yen for 1.5 times the amount of meat. When I tried to order green tea, a staff member kindly informed me that there were also tea options available in a small corner nearby. I appreciate the thoughtfulness. I usually go for kalbi, but this time I was drawn to the popular 5 kinds of grilled meat lunch set with 1.5 times the amount of meat. It included tongue, wagyu beef, harami, chicken thigh, and pork belly, along with rice, soup, kimchi, salad, and a drink bar. The salad was fresh and refreshing, the kimchi was tangy, and the soup was tasty. I was curious about what "1.5 times the amount" meant, but when the set arrived, I understood - each type of meat had 3 pieces instead of the usual 2. What a great value for the price (1280 yen + 300 yen excluding tax)! And there was tongue too, which made me even more excited. Despite feeling a bit overwhelmed by the grill, I enjoyed cooking and eating the meat one after another. Even though this was a lunch set, the variety of 5 kinds of meat was a nice change from the usual kalbi. Surprisingly, the chicken meat was really good, so I felt lucky. I'm looking forward to trying the kalbi that wasn't included in this set next time. They offer free extra rice as well. Thank you for the meal.
