This is a bar located in Ningyocho. The location of the shop is just 1-2 minutes from Ningyocho subway station, in the basement of a dining building on a side street off the main road. There are many dining options in the area, but I feel like there aren't many authentic bars. I sometimes go for meals or drinks in Ningyocho, and personally, this is my favorite bar recently. The interior of the bar has 7 counter seats and 6-7 table seats in a relatively small space. One distinctive feature is that despite being underground, the ceiling is very high, giving the place an open feel with the tall liquor shelves at the back bar. Despite being so close to the station, it has a calm atmosphere and is a comfortable place to be. The owner, Mr. Naito, trained for many years at the renowned Opal in Monzen-nakacho before opening this bar over 10 years ago. The cocktails are all delicious, with the stirring and shaking done gently and thoroughly to blend the flavors. The martinis, in particular, are fantastic. While the whiskey selection may not be too niche, they have a carefully curated range. They also have some old bottles that can be enjoyed neat or as an accent in a highball. The owner may not be very talkative, but his gentle demeanor is quite likable. Personally, it's a very convenient location for me, so I find it very useful for unwinding alone after work or after a drinking party. I plan to continue visiting in the future.

I visited this place wanting to have a few more drinks with a friend after leaving Date no Kura Ningyocho store. I didn't realize it was a famous bar with a hundred names. The place was crowded, but we were lucky to get in as someone was leaving. I had two drinks on the rocks and had a good conversation. The atmosphere and drinks were excellent. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

After having dinner in Ningyocho, I wanted to have a few more drinks with my friend, so we decided to go to this place that had good reviews. It's conveniently close to the station, so it's easy to catch a train afterwards. The restaurant is located underground. The atmosphere inside is authentic and cozy. There were two bartenders who were friendly and easy to talk to, which made us feel comfortable. We ordered: - White peach cocktail - Recommended whiskey The peach cocktail had a nice aroma and we enjoyed savoring it slowly. The whiskey was smooth and we enjoyed it as the ice melted. The place was very quiet, making it a good spot for a leisurely drink. We arrived around 10 pm and the place was almost full. It seemed to continue getting busier, so it might be hard to get a table depending on the time. Many people were there alone, and it seemed like a great place to enjoy a drink in a relaxing atmosphere. Thank you for the meal!

The gin and tonic is delicious here. I checked out the new commercial building in Ningyocho, but it was crowded and didn't catch my interest, so I came here instead. There are three bartenders, very glamorous. The peach cocktail is exquisite. The unique gin and tonic from Kyoto has a mysterious flavor of sansho pepper, but it's delicious. The rice crackers for snacks were also good. Thank you for the feast today.

Located underground, it was surprisingly hard to find. The owner was kind, so my friends and I chatted about various things, and we were grateful that we were able to order right up until the last minute! I'm not good with alcohol, so the owner recommended a seasonal watermelon and pineapple cocktail for me, and they both had their own unique flavors and were easy to drink. It was also Instagram-worthy (lol). Thank you for the meal.

It's a hidden gem near the station with minimal charm. The jerky for snacks is warm and delicious. The service is thoughtful, with a quiet bartender named Naito and a friendly bartender named Igarashi. They balance the atmosphere of the place well. The drinks are made meticulously and beautifully visible from the counter. The interior is somewhat similar to OPA in Monzen-nakacho, and it turns out that the bartenders are OPA alumni. I tried the Mojito and Plum Fizz, both made with fresh fruits and delicious. It's not easy to find such tasty drinks, but both the atmosphere and the taste are great here. They recommend stopping after the second drink if you order a Martini because it's strong. I recommend the Gin and Tonic, it goes down smoothly and is dangerously easy to drink. It's a risky place, haha.

Located a 2-minute walk from Ningyocho Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and Toei Asakusa Line, this underground bar is truly a hidden gem for adults. Behind the counter, numerous bottles line the wall. Lately, I've been hooked on gin and tonics or gin and soda, so on this day, I ordered a gin and tonic made with Suntory BEEFEATER GIN. I usually drink Tanqueray gin, but BEEFEATER was delicious as well. After a few drinks, I ended up getting quite drunk. It was a wonderful time spent in this very atmospheric bar.

I had heard good things about this bar in Ningyocho, but I had trouble finding the right timing to visit. It's located close to the subway station, but in a small building in a back alley that you wouldn't find unless you were looking for it. When I opened the door, I was greeted by a high ceiling and a shelf behind the counter that reached all the way up to the ceiling, displaying a fascinating selection of drinks. I arrived just in time for opening, so I had the place to myself for a while. I sat at the counter and enjoyed a brief but pleasant time with some delicious drinks. The first drink, a simple yet tasty gin and tonic, matched perfectly with the atmosphere of the bar. After quenching my thirst, I had a classic martini as an aperitif, which led to a discussion about when is the best time to drink it. It may not be common for Japanese people to elegantly enjoy a strong drink like a martini before a meal, but I slyly had one anyway. It's delicious even after a meal though... It was the perfect timing to head to dinner in a good mood.

When you hear "Naito" at a bar, you immediately think of Naito Chin, right? I wonder if anyone knows him? haha Before heading to a certain traditional Japanese restaurant for the second time in Ningyocho, I decided to check out a nearby bar that I had been wanting to visit. This place, Bar Naito, was opened by Mr. Naito, who had been working at the authentic bar, Bar OPA in Monzen-Nakacho for many years, about 9 years ago. The bar has been selected as one of the top 100 bars on Tabelog. Located in a building tucked away in the backstreets near Ningyocho, it is on the basement floor. Despite being underground, the ceiling is surprisingly high, giving a sense of descending about 1.5 floors below ground level. The back bar has 5 layers. Each layer has sturdy bars for fall prevention, a feature that was added after the Great East Japan Earthquake. The logo is a design combining Naito's "N" and Ningyocho's "N", with the yellow representing barley, the main ingredient in whiskey, and the top part... I forgot what it was when I asked haha. Now, let's start with my favorite cocktail. - Gimlet: Is the gin Beefeater? Finally, ice is added to the shaker... oh, that was a long shake! It might have been the longest shake I've ever seen. Let's try it... whoa, this is strong! As I suspected, the gin is a bit heavy. Phew! And it's delicious! Spirits pack a punch, after all. Spirits are all about high alcohol content. Spirits like Spirytus are a bit too much though haha. - Otoshi: Mixed nuts - Glenfiddich Our Original Twelve (Single Malt): One of the representatives of 12-year-old Scotch single malts. It has an elegant and smooth taste, perfect before a Japanese meal. However, the bottle has changed from the one I used to see when I frequented bars. It's still triangular, but they've added illustrations directly to the bottle, not just the label. Bourbons like Four Roses have also upgraded their bottles. - Clynelish Aged 14 Years (Single Malt): Do you have a menu? I asked, and although the menu only listed representative brands, it wasn't very helpful... as they said. It was as described on the menu, but as I hadn't tried this Highland malt before, I decided to give it a try. Wow, this is delicious! It has a rich flavor and aroma, making this single malt very tasty. I made the right choice by ordering this! I was thinking of leaving, but since I still had time and felt like having one more drink... - Chartreuse Verte V.E.P. (Single Malt): This is a liqueur from France. There's Verte (green) and Jaune (yellow). I often had Chartreuse Verte as a finishing touch at bars, but I had never tried V.E.P. before. What's with this thickness!? This is a Verte that has been further aged for 8 years, with a creamy texture, plenty of herbal aroma, and almost the same alcohol content as regular Verte (55%). It was so delicious! I made the right choice by ordering this. Oh, I almost forgot about the meal after this. That's not good. I need to leave soon! So, after enjoying myself, I ended up drinking too much before heading to my favorite Japanese restaurant for a meal. Oh well, it was a great place. I visit Ningyocho often, so I would like to visit this place again. I also hope to visit the renowned main store of Bar OPA in Ginza, as well as the Bar OPA Monzen-Nakacho branch where I trained.

2022 Dolls' Bar, which has been selected as one of the top 100 bars, is located in Ningyocho. The town itself has a traditional Japanese atmosphere. Thanks to Tabelog, I was able to discover such an authentic bar. The entrance may be hard to find, so it might be intimidating to enter for the first time, but I highly recommend visiting at least once. The bartender with a gentle demeanor and the sophisticated authentic bar will welcome you. I tried the Quarter Deck cocktail, which is one of the many cocktails available. The combination of rum and sherry is rare. The flavor of sherry and the acidity of rum blend together, creating a unique mild taste. If the proportions are off, the taste could be disastrous, but it was incredibly delicious. I mentioned that I had dinner plans afterward, so they served it as an aperitif. It was incredibly delicious. This is a wonderful bar.

Bar Naito, located near Ningyocho Station, is owned and operated by Mr. Naito, who hails from OPA Monzen-Nakacho. He is a friendly and approachable bartender known for his butterfly tie. The bar was established in 2014 and is now in its 9th year. Despite being located underground, the high ceilings and tall backboard design give it a powerful presence. Mr. Naito and another bartender work together, serving a total of 14 seats - 7 at the counter and 7 at tables. The bar's logo design subtly incorporates the letter "N" shared by Nihonbashi, Ningyocho, and Naito. The drinks, crafted with consultation from Mr. Naito, were excellent, particularly the Sidecar made with Hennessy. Thank you for the meal. It's been so many years since I've been to a bar... I used to be taken there in my younger days (early 20s) and didn't appreciate it then! But I realized the charm of it now! The bartender was young but carried himself with elegance, and the cocktails were delicious! It was more relaxed than I thought, and I had a great time.

This is a bar located in Ningyocho area. You enter through a small alley, follow a staircase leading underground, and open the door to find a sophisticated and stylish space. It's a quiet and atmospheric authentic bar with a 6-seat counter, a 4-person table, and a 2-person table. The space is not large, but the ceiling is high. The atmosphere of the counter and back bar is also stylish. The young and handsome bartender greeted me when I arrived around 9:15 PM. There were only 3 other customers, quietly enjoying their drinks. It seemed like there was a reservation, as the next customer was turned away and I was the last seat available. Lucky me. I had a Gimlet and an XYZ, both refreshing citrus-based short cocktails with gin and rum. They were both classic choices, but the bartender's skill and the taste were excellent. There was no menu and the prices were not clear, but for 2 drinks and a charm, it was around 3,500 yen, which is average. Around 10 PM, a group of 4 customers who seemed familiar with the bartender arrived and the atmosphere became lively. I preferred the quiet atmosphere in the first half, as I was alone, but that's just timing. Overall, it was a truly authentic and stylish bar.

I visited "Bar Naito," located near Ningyocho Station. This bar was selected as one of the Top 100 Bars by Tabelog in 2022. It opened in February 2014. It is conveniently located just a minute's walk from Ningyocho Station, which is served by the Toei Asakusa Line and Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line. The bar is situated on the B1F of the Cosmo V Building, facing the street leading from the station. Upon entering, I was greeted by a chic and sophisticated space with a brown color scheme. In addition to the elegant counter seats, there are also table seats available. The back of the counter is lined with shelves full of bottles that reach up to the ceiling. Today, I tried a citrus cocktail. Bringing the glass close, I could enjoy the fresh aroma of the fruits. It was a refreshing cocktail with a subtle sweetness. Thank you for the meal.

A bar where you can enjoy delicious drinks. I arrived after 8 pm on a holiday and went straight in. I ordered seasonal fruit cocktail, gin and tonic, Seabass, Royal 12 years, and Seabass, Royal 18 years. This bar was selected as one of the top 100 bars on Tabelog. It's located in a back alley in Ningyocho and has an authentic atmosphere. It's a wonderful space with an adult vibe. They have a wide variety of cocktails, from standard to fruit cocktails. Located just a short walk from Ningyocho Station, we visited this place for a second round after having dinner nearby. We arrived around 8:30 pm on a weekday without a reservation, but were seated right away. There is no menu, so you order verbally based on your preferences. I had a vodka-based gimlet and a Blue Label with soda. The gimlet was surprisingly easy to drink and I finished it quickly. The Blue Label was delicious, as expected. It might have been nice to have it on the rocks. The charm was dried fruits, which were tasty. The staff occasionally engaged in conversation, creating a quiet and mature atmosphere. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

Today, I had a late lunch so I felt like having a drink before dinner. I visited a bar in the Ningyocho Suitengu area for the first time. As I descended the stairs to the basement, I found myself in an atmospheric, authentic bar. The cozy interior had a counter with 7 seats and 7 table seats, which I liked. The bartender was engaging and helped me choose a drink that suited my taste. Today, I was recommended an Irish whiskey, which I don't usually drink. The charm of the dried fruits was also a favorite point for me. They paired really well with the whiskey. This bar is great for visiting with friends or a couple, and also perfect for treating yourself to some alone time. I had a great time but made sure not to drink too much before leaving the bar. I've found another great bar to enjoy.

On a very cold winter day, I visited a nice bar in Ningyocho after having a crispy meal. I had been wanting to explore the Ningyocho area. While searching for bars, I found a lovely bar with a hundred-year history located very close to the station. I called and they had availability, so I headed there right away. The bar had a counter-focused layout with slightly bright lighting. There were two bartenders. They didn't have sparkling wine, so I had a strawberry cocktail with a vodka base. It was refreshing, fruity, and delicious. I only had one drink since I had already been drinking, but they had a wide variety of alcohol options, so I would like to visit again when I'm in the area.
