I visited a girls' gathering to enjoy early summer. I made a reservation for the "terrace dinner set." The terrace seats (on the rooftop of a building) are dependent on the weather, and nights have been hot lately, so there are challenging factors, but if you are lucky, the incomparable feeling of openness is charming. What's more, the allure of these terrace seats is that there is a self-pouring server for beer, sparkling wine, highballs, and sours. The glasses are also chilled in a dedicated refrigerator. My excitement soared when the staff explained this to us as soon as we sat down. Regarding the yakiniku, each person is served various cuts of meat on individual plates at the beginning. There is no specific explanation, so you have to make your own judgment – the one with lettuce is for salt, and the one without lettuce is for sauce maybe. The course information on the website states that the salt plate includes a "comparison of three aged tongues" and "prime harami," while the sauce plate includes "kalbi," "shintama," "ranichi," and "katasankaku." The "prime harami" has a satisfying thickness and the umami of harami oozes out with every bite, making it delicious. The "three types of tongue" consist of tongue base, tongue tip, and tongue tendon. The tongue base and tongue tendon are also thick and have a delicious umami when chewed. The cuts of meat for the sauce plate are thinner and wider compared to the salt plate, and are grilled lightly. Although this is a well-known yakiniku restaurant, the "terrace dinner set" gives more of a beer garden vibe rather than a traditional yakiniku restaurant feel. However, it is still rated as an "exceptionally delicious barbecue restaurant." Since it is located on the rooftop with staircase access, you cannot expect meticulous service from the staff, but the refreshing breeze, the cityscape sinking into the evening darkness, the self-pouring server... This experience truly heightened the excitement for this summer and provided a wonderful time with friends.
