In the heart of Kyoto, I was able to stay at a highly sought-after inn that is usually fully booked. Despite not wanting to visit Kyoto during these times, my experience completely changed at check-in. I was pleasantly surprised by the luxurious feel of the single-use double room at such a reasonable price and the welcoming check-in process with tea served. The room was fantastic and the breakfast, freshly made and baked, was superb. It was truly a luxurious treat.
