In January of this year, a popular steakhouse in Shibuya opened another branch in Shibuya, adding to its existing locations in Dogenzaka in Shibuya (opened three years ago), Ikebukuro, and Ichikawa, Chiba. With a total of four locations in just over three years, this steakhouse is gaining momentum. Operating hours are from 11:00 am to 7:00 am, currently shortened to 9:00 pm due to pandemic restrictions. There are no set days off. The restaurant is located a 5-minute walk from Shibuya Station's Hachiko exit. I visited alone around 2:30 pm. The exterior and interior have an American feel, with a main interior theme of wood. The seating is mainly at the counter, with about 25 seats available. The menu is extensive, offering various cuts of beef such as shoulder loin and oyster, with different gram sizes available. They also serve dishes like log chicken, Genghis Khan, and kangaroo steak. Combo steak menus and side dishes are also available. I ordered the 200g shoulder loin steak (1,100 yen) with rice and soup set (320 yen). The soup was served first, a delicious wakame seaweed soup. The steak took about 10 minutes to arrive, sizzling on the hot plate. It was quite rare, with corn, cabbage, and bean sprouts on the side. The rice was a blend of white rice and barley, called "barley rice," rich in minerals. The steak was tasty, albeit a bit too rare for my liking. The garlic sauce and the original onion sauce were delicious, especially the onion sauce made with onions from Awaji Island. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, and I would visit again if given the chance.

In Shibuya, I was craving for some hearty meat and stumbled upon a restaurant that caught my eye while strolling around. I checked the reviews on Tabelog and they seemed decent, so I decided to wait in line behind two groups of people. There was no shade outside the restaurant, so it was tough to wait on sunny days. After about a 10-minute wait, I finally got inside. I ordered the 300g shoulder loin steak. From 11 am to 3 pm, they offer complimentary rice and wakame soup. It took about 10 minutes for my order to arrive. The teppanyaki plate was piled high with meat, bean sprouts, cabbage, and corn. The shoulder loin had just the right amount of fat, and the meat was tender and very delicious. For this price, I felt it was tastier than Ikinari Steak! My wife tried the harami (skirt steak) and found it quite tough, which made the shoulder loin's deliciousness stand out even more. However, most people seemed to be ordering the harami, so maybe they prefer a leaner, protein-rich option. It was nice to have various condiments like salt, pepper, wasabi, onion sauce, and garlic sauce for different flavors. I definitely want to come back to this place.

I went for a walk in Shibuya for the first time in a while and ended up at Steak Lodge Shibuya. I had the Harumi Steak 300g set, where you get to grill the meat yourself and adjust the cooking to your liking. I had a craving for meat, so I decided to go to Steak Lodge. They were sold out of Genghis Khan, so I opted for the Misuji set instead. It is recommended to have it rare, but I asked for it well-done. When the hot plate arrived with the sauce, there was a lot of smoke! I enjoyed dipping the meat in wasabi and eating it. It was delicious. They also served black oolong tea, which was a nice touch. Surprisingly, I ended up feeling very full! I think next time I'll try the Harami.

Steak Lodge Shibuya Udagawa branch is located in Udagawa-cho in Shibuya, near the Infini Hall behind the police box in Center-gai. It's not very close to Shibuya Station, but since it's in a bustling area, there are quite a few people even late at night. I had plans in Shibuya and it was close to the last train, so I was looking for a nearby open restaurant and happened to stumble upon this place. Despite being close to the last train, the restaurant was about 80% full. The interior is like a bungalow with a BBQ-like atmosphere where you can enjoy your meal. This time, I ordered the Harami steak. It had little fat, a good chewy texture, and the flavor came out more as you chewed. There are a variety of sauces and spices available, so you can enjoy different flavors with each bite. The staff were friendly and I left satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

The lodge is located a few steps higher, so you have to climb a bit to check the crowd inside. During lunch time on weekends, it was crowded, but we managed to get in just in time before the next person had to wait outside. There were three young and energetic female staff members who were fluent in English on the floor, and two male staff members in the kitchen. There were quite a few foreign customers, and it seems like they also have an English menu. Although I often pass by the original store in Dogenzaka, this was my first visit. I was intrigued by the chicken steak priced at 980 yen excluding tax, but someone else paid for me, so I ended up choosing the beef. I ordered 300g, which was a bit too much for lunch. Since the rice and soup set is free during lunch hours from 11:00 to 15:00, it's the only option for lunch. The restaurant is open for long hours, so you can enjoy meat even late at night or early in the morning. It might be worth it just for the meat. The variety of condiments available is great, and the fresh wasabi is nice. My companion who ordered the harami steak mentioned that it got a bit tough towards the end. Choosing the shoulder loin was the right decision. Many of the muscular customers were ordering the chicken steak.

I occasionally use this place when I want to eat until I'm full. The atmosphere is kind of like Disney's Big Thunder Mountain (lol). They have harami steak and healthy options, allowing you to truly savor the quality of the meat. They need to improve on the slow service for condiments and running out of items. The taste is good, but I was surprised by the poor attitude of the male cashier when I paid.

One day, I unexpectedly had lunch with my 70-year-old father who works in Shibuya. He took me to his recent favorite steak restaurant, which turned out to be a lodge-style steakhouse located behind the Udagawa police box off Center Street. The restaurant had a unique wooden lodge-like appearance, and the interior resembled a casual ski lodge with no stuffiness. We sat at the counter, and my father ordered the "Lodge Steak 500g." I decided to order the same and after a short wait, the steak arrived. The server explained that the inside was rare, so we could enjoy it at our preferred doneness. The steak was not the type that melts in your mouth, but rather had a satisfying chewiness that required some effort to eat. The corn and broccoli sides were cooked perfectly with the steak's juices, and I enjoyed them with a generous amount of garlic sauce. We both silently savored our steaks and finished almost simultaneously. It was a moment of realization that eating meat is truly a source of energy for work and life. It was a satisfying afternoon in Shibuya. Thank you for the meal.

Recently, I've been gaining weight, so I've been avoiding meat and rice in order to lose weight. But I couldn't resist any longer and ended up going out to eat. There is a place called "Steak Lodge" located in the back of Inokashira Street in Shibuya, which used to be known for its steak, but the fatty meat started to become too heavy, so a place with light meat that you can easily enjoy is here. It used to be on Dogenzaka, but it seems to have moved here. I always order the same thing, the "Sirloin Steak 300g". When I entered the restaurant, it was surprisingly full. Most of the customers were foreigners. I think maybe the mountain lodge-like interior appeals to foreigners. When I opened the menu, I saw that they serve dishes like Genghis Khan and kangaroo meat, as well as menus tailored for people who are into weight training or dieting. They really have everything covered. The dish arrived in about 10 minutes. It was almost raw and you cook it on the hot plate to your liking. I like to smother it in garlic sauce and sprinkle it with a ton of black pepper before eating. I've been coming here for about a year, and it was delicious to eat again after a long time. I highly recommend it!

Visited after 9 PM. The restaurant was almost full. Ordered the Misu Steak 300g with a large portion of rice. It's a type where raw meat is placed on a hot plate for you to cook as you like, similar to Ikinari Steak. The meat was cooked rare as the hot plate wasn't hot enough, but it was still tender. The quality of the meat was definitely better than the Wild Steak at Ikinari Steak. If you're craving meat, it's worth the price.

I wanted to have a quick steak, so I went to a steak restaurant that I don't usually visit. It was around 8 PM on a Sunday and there was already one group waiting ahead of me. More people started to arrive after me, and there was a decent line forming. Since a YouTuber often visited this place, I was expecting the food to be delicious. The restaurant had a good capacity and all counter seats. The spacing between seats was a bit tight. They provided cutlery, sauces, condiments, water, paper aprons, and other essentials on the table. The Rich Steak was sold out, so I was planning to get the Harami, but when I sat down, I saw the Body Make Steak on the menu, which wasn't outside. It seemed like a good option as it offered a variety of meats to try in small portions. I also ordered the Colorful Salad (165 yen). The Colorful Salad and soup arrived first, and my expectations dropped immediately. The salad had a small amount of vegetables with an excessive amount of dressing. The soup was not warm at all, in fact, it was cold. After a while, the steak arrived. The chicken breast had a lot of skin, which was surprising for a Body Make steak. The lean meat (Missus) had a lot of sinew, making it hard to cut, chew, or swallow. It got stuck in my molars and was difficult to remove. When I mentioned to the staff when ordering that I don't like tough meat, they assured me that it wasn't tough. However, the Missus was far from enjoyable. The boiled egg was overcooked, and the broccoli was mushy. Overall, the chicken was better than the Missus, with the meat being relatively moist and enjoyable with salt and pepper. If I were to visit again, I would opt for the chicken steak instead.

I visited the restaurant for the second time since my first visit a few years ago. I ordered the recommended set of misuji and harami (around 2,700 yen), but the meat was tough to chew. I wonder if the quality has declined. Also, even though it was a rice set, the rice did not come. The staff seemed to have forgotten as they were chatting in the kitchen.

I happened to stop by on the 29th and they had a special menu for that day! Of course, I ordered it! It was the Bigfoot's Triple Combo, only available on the 29th for 2929 yen! It included a Rich Steak 200g, Juicy Steak 200g, and Domestic Chicken Steak 200g. The taste was... meat. So it was delicious! There was nothing particularly special about it, but there were several sauces and seasonings provided, so I didn't get tired of eating it! I'm full now!

Daikanzaka branch has closed down, so I went to the Udagawa branch. It was almost full around 9 pm, and everyone seemed to love meat. I registered as a LINE friend to get a free black oolong tea. You get 1 point per visit, and with 5 points, you can get a 300g steak for ¥1,000, which is quite a good deal. I ordered the Combo Steak with Misuji and Harami 400g (¥2,563) and it was served in 7-8 minutes. I chose broccoli and mixed vegetables as side dishes. Both the salt and pepper, wasabi, and two types of sauce were delicious. The Combo had Misuji on the left and Harami on the right. Eating them side by side, you can really tell that Harami is a type of offal. It made me realize that getting excited over red meat is probably in our DNA from thousands of years of surviving on meat. I savored the meat in deep thought. I will definitely come back. Dinner experience. The photo is of chicken cooked at a low temperature. It is served on a hot iron plate, so the inside stays cold while the outside is heated. It's best to eat it quickly before the iron plate cools down and the meat gets cold. There are various sauces for flavoring, but there are no separate plates so once you pour sauce, everything tastes the same haha. The beef menu, however, has tough meat that is tiring to chew. Also, the rice is not tasty.

There is a lodge near Tokyu Hands in Shibuya. I think there was also one on Dogenzaka in Shibuya, but it seems they have recently opened here as well. I stopped by for lunch on a weekday. I ordered the recommended "Harami Steak 120g for 1,320 yen including tax." During lunchtime, the "Mountain Hut Set A Rice and Soup" is free (usually 352 yen including tax). The steak arrived in about 5 minutes. Fast! It was served rare, and they asked if I wanted it cooked more. The taste was okay. I wish it was a bit more tender... Thank you for the meal.

I visited Steak Lodge because they are offering a limited-time dish called Tsukimi Garlic Butter Steak until October 9th. I was happy to find a place where I can just eat steak without rice. I had added the Udagawacho store as a LINE friend, and I received a special black oolong tea as a friend benefit. The store is spacious and I had no trouble finding a seat when I visited after work around 5 pm. The steak was served in about 7-8 minutes with plenty of broccoli and mashed potatoes. The meat had a good texture and was satisfying to eat. The garlic butter and tsukimi garlic sauce were served separately, allowing me to enjoy changing the flavor with condiments on the table. In Shibuya, there are many steak restaurants like Steak Lodge, Outback Steakhouse, and Ikinari Steak. It seems that people in Shibuya are meat lovers. Unfortunately, the original Dodgenosaka store, which has been loved by many for years, will be closing on October 10th due to land development. It is sad to see such a nostalgic place in Dodgenosaka disappear.

You know what's great? The service from the female staff at this restaurant. They are all cheerful, energetic, and cute. I wonder how they train their staff to be so lovely. But leaving that aside, let's talk about the lodge and the meat. Last time I had the shoulder roast and skirt steak, so this time I tried the recommended ribeye. It's delicious and affordable. Personally, I prefer it over the sirloin. This place deserves a higher rating, don't you think?

I visited the restaurant "Steak Lodge Shibuya Udagawa" for the first time because I had a stopover in Shibuya. It was a Friday evening around 9 pm when I visited, and I was able to enter smoothly without much of a wait. The kangaroo and lamb meat were already sold out, so I ordered the rare cut log bench Megane steak in 300g portion. I also ordered a draft beer to go with the steak, and got a free black oolong tea by adding the restaurant on LINE. The Megane steak was quite unique and had a good chewy texture with a lot of flavor. Overall, all the steaks were served sizzling hot and were delicious. The atmosphere of the lodge-style interior was also quite nice. It was a great dining experience! I would love to visit again, but unfortunately, it seems like the restaurant has already closed down...
