TACKNMON
When you're feeling down, the solution varies from person to person. Some people feel better by laughing, crying, going on a trip, or exercising. For me, talking to cheerful friends and enjoying delicious food always cheers me up. Today, I visited "Yakiniku Motochan Shinjuku Store" in Shinjuku, just a 5-minute walk from the station. The restaurant offers high-quality yakiniku in a spacious and open setting, open 24 hours a day. They have a wide selection of A4 grade wagyu beef, including harami, loin, tripe, and tongue salt, as well as authentic Korean cuisine and a total of 70 dishes, including a drink all-you-can-eat "Standard Course" with 40 drink options. The quality and quantity are excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. I made a reservation and visited on a Friday night for a friend's birthday celebration. It was just a casual drinking party. I tried to find a cake to bring along in Shinjuku, but there weren't many options at this hour. I wonder if the shops selling whole cakes in Shinjuku are mainly frequented by hosts and the like? I gave up and when I arrived at the restaurant, nobody was there yet, so I waited. The restaurant has a casual yakiniku vibe and is open 24 hours, which is quite impressive. You can even smoke at your table. Finally, my friends arrived, and the feast began! We grilled the meat on the charcoal grill. The service was prompt, and the taste was delicious. Especially the tongue! It was delicious, and the all-you-can-eat option was fantastic. Grilling on charcoal was a nice touch. The kimchi was a bit on the sour side. The menu was extensive, and just looking at it made me hungry... no, I was already full. The shrimp was served in a spicy soy sauce marinated style that you could eat raw, but we lightly grilled it. They changed the grill and replaced the tongs promptly. We ordered a variety of dishes for the finale, and we left satisfied and full. Using a coupon extended the time for all-you-can-drink, which was great. When you have a sudden craving for lots of meat, whether it's late at night or early in the morning, it's a great place to enjoy yakiniku with friends. Thank you for the meal. TakuMon out. Cheers!
