I'm looking for a curry restaurant near Tokyo Station! I was always curious about this place that always had a line of customers in front of it, so I decided to try it out. There were mostly solo seats and I waited for about 10 minutes. I ordered the Keema Curry for 1180 yen and the Chicken Curry & Keema Curry for 1280 yen. I bought a meal ticket first, handed it to the staff, and was shown to my seat. The curry arrived in about 5 minutes! At first glance, I thought the portion size was a bit small, but when I started eating, there was actually quite a bit of rice and I couldn't finish it all by myself! The Keema Curry was quite spicy, but when mixed with the egg, it became milder and I could also enjoy changing the taste. Towards the end, I started to feel the spiciness more, but it really stimulated my appetite and was very delicious. The Chicken Curry seemed milder in comparison. I usually don't wait in line for restaurants, but I'm glad I did for this one! Thank you for the meal! ◎

The side dishes were delicious, and the additional spices added a nice touch to the meal. I will definitely come back here whenever I feel like having curry at Tokyo Station.

Afterwards, about 20% of the seats were filled, so it was relatively empty. The customers were mostly women, about 90%, with men making up the remaining 10%. The service was efficiently handled by a female staff member. The menu includes dishes such as Pork Cutlet Curry, European-style Cutlet Curry, Chicken Curry with Awaji Island Onions, Love Chicken Curry, Keema Curry, and more. I ordered the Love Chicken Curry priced at 1430 yen. The curry was served 3 minutes after ordering, presented beautifully on a light blue round plate with rice, chicken, Awaji Island onion curry, chickpea crackers, soft-boiled egg, and coriander as garnish. The curry was mild with a hint of spiciness, the sweetness of Awaji Island onions, and the chickpea crackers, soft-boiled egg, and coriander added a delicious touch. The restaurant has a dark brown and red-themed alluring atmosphere. Payment is made through a ticket machine inside the restaurant before ordering, and various cashless payment options are available. The Love Chicken Curry priced at 1430 yen was mild with a hint of spiciness, the sweetness of Awaji Island onions, and the chickpea crackers, soft-boiled egg, and coriander added a delicious touch.

A shop in Tokyo Station that is easy to enter even if you are alone. You can order at the entrance, pay, and then be guided to your seat. I had the Koi Mori Chicken Curry! The curry has a strong spice flavor. The texture of the papadum is good, and when you mix in toppings like eggs and coriander, it creates a different taste experience! There are also spice oils on the table, so you can customize the flavor to your liking, which is nice.

The curry comes with a Harissa-like condiment and spiced oil which are delicious. The curry itself has a gentle flavor, and the chicken is very tender. There were many solo female diners. The spoons used are the smooth Niigata Tsubame City curry spoons.

When you enter the restaurant, you immediately use a touch panel to choose your menu and make a pre-payment. Then you are guided to your seat. You can also choose the amount of rice you want, which is great. They accept credit cards, electronic money, and cash. This time, I ordered: - Keema Curry with a small amount of rice for ¥1,230 The Keema Curry was spicy but not too hot, and you can adjust the spiciness to your liking with the spice oil and spices provided at the table. It had beans in it, which I like. The grilled cheese on top added a nice touch and changed the flavor as you ate, making it delicious. Being able to choose the rice amount and the quick service from ordering to receiving the food were also great points. I would definitely like to visit again if I have the chance.

The pork cutlet was a good size and thickness. The meat was a bit tough, so I added some flavored oil for a different taste. Personally, I can't accept lukewarm food even if the taste is good, so I rated it lower. Maybe it was just a one-time thing. Also, they should put more effort into the rice. The taste is good, but if the recommended menu turns out to be this, it's a bit disappointing. They are trying with things like water, spicy spices, and spice oil, but it's even more disappointing. Maybe I had too high expectations? What a shame.

The portion of rice was a bit small, and the curry sauce was not overly abundant, so I had to be mindful of how I distributed them while eating. The Keema Curry was rich in various spices, and the topping added a delicious touch. The Chicken Curry was mild but had a gradual kick to it. Both curries were tasty, and mixing them together enhanced the flavors even more. Additionally, the spice oil and chili served on the side, although not shown in the photos, were excellent in complementing the curry. The spice oil heightened the aroma and smoothed out the texture, making the overall experience delightful. While the addition of a soft-boiled egg on top of the rice was a good variation, considering the portion sizes and the presence of spice oil and chili, it may not be necessary. Although the price for a single curry dish was relatively high, the attentive service, quick dining experience, and quality of the food made it worth it. While Tokyo Station boasts renowned establishments like Fish and Eric South, which are on the pricier side, this particular restaurant did not give off an overly expensive impression. Despite being a spice curry shop, the food came out quickly without any wait, similar to regular curry shops like CoCo Ichibanya. Spice curry is a unique culture in Japan, so I think even tourists can enjoy it. The taste was rich and creamy with a crunchy nut texture, and the spices were mild without being overpowering. The curry ended up dripping onto the rice, but it came out so quickly that it couldn't be helped!

I went to lunch with my company senior. Probably on the weekend. I often see lines forming during lunch time, but around 1 pm on weekdays, you can easily get a table. As expected of Nakamuraya, the curry taste is consistent! The menu seems to be targeting women, with seasonal and vibrant options. In general, I felt that it was lacking that extra something, and there are many delicious curry places around Yaezu Marunouchi area, so I don't think I will be visiting again.

I went to a curry specialty restaurant called "Koi to Spice Shinjuku Nakamuraya Gransta Tokyo Store" near Tokyo Station, produced by Nakamuraya in Shinjuku, Tokyo. When I entered the restaurant, there were 9 counter seats, 2 two-person tables, and 1 six-person table. I ordered Chicken Curry for 1,130 yen and Keema Curry for 1,230 yen, all including tax. The dishes arrived in about 5 minutes, which was fast! The curry roux had a beautiful color and looked delicious. I tried the Chicken Curry first, which was creamy, flavorful, and easy to eat, with spiciness kicking in later. The Keema Curry had a nice blend of minced meat umami and spicy curry roux, and the cheese and soft-boiled egg added extra indulgence. It was a treat! Thank you for the meal.

In the summer when you have no appetite, spicy curry is the best choice! First, you select your menu at the machine at the entrance and purchase a meal ticket. I purchased a meal ticket from the vending machine and enjoyed the Chicken Curry in its prime. The recommended special oil by the staff was a nice touch for flavor variation. It's convenient to be able to easily enjoy the taste of Shinjuku Nakamuraya.

There are many options at Tokyo Station, but I think it's worth trying the curry here. It was my first visit, so I chose the chicken curry and keema curry to enjoy. I added cilantro and cheese as toppings. At first, I tried the keema and chicken curry plain, and they were delicious on their own. Then, I added cilantro, original spice oil, and extra spice provided, creating a perfect harmony of spice flavors and cilantro aroma in my mouth. The moment the aroma passed through my nose, I felt an uplifting sensation. Mixing the two curries together was also delicious, so I recommend Ai More Curry for its variety of enjoyable options. When you're at Tokyo Station, I think it's a recommended restaurant to stop by.
