It was past 7 PM on a national holiday. There was no line. They provided paper aprons but no tissues. I was looking forward to the flavor based on the official website's description of "Charred Basil and Tomato Broth," and it truly lived up to my expectations. The basil aroma, tomato acidity, and subtle spices made it very delicious. The chicken was tender, although the amount of soup was a bit less compared to other popular shops. They are soon celebrating their 20th anniversary, which is impressive in a place where trends come and go rapidly. The taste speaks for itself. Thank you for the meal.

The flavor and saltiness were lacking. It's not a dish that focuses on enjoying the natural taste of the ingredients, and despite boasting a variety of toppings, the soup was lacking. I won't be returning. I forgot to take a photo of the food, but oh well, onto the next place! Additional note: The food was lukewarm.

Delicious. The delivery was a bit slow, but the food was very standard and there were no disappointments. There were plenty of seats, and it was great that we were seated right away even on the weekend. They don't seem to focus on appearance, which I appreciate. This place also seems welcoming for solo female diners.

Located in the curry battleground of Shimokitazawa, this healthy soup curry restaurant offers a variety of options from seasonal summer vegetable curry to hearty meat-based curry. I ordered the pork and spinach soup curry. You can choose the level of spiciness, and I opted for medium which was just right for me. The taste was standard for a soup curry restaurant.
Delicious soup curry with plenty of vegetables. The chicken is tender and can be eaten with just a spoon. I think it's tastier than eating it in Hokkaido! There is a ramen shop across the street with a long line. Shimokitazawa is full of curry and ramen shops, all with long lines. It's recommended to arrive early.

Lunch Set A (Chicken Soup Curry, Salad, Dessert, Oolong Tea) for 990 yen. I added natto topping for 150 yen. The curry had a spice level of 5 and came with a regular portion of brown rice (200g). I arrived around 12:30 and there was no wait. However, it was a bit hectic inside. It was my first time trying natto topping, recommended by a friend, and surprisingly, it went well with the curry. I like my curry thick, so the stickiness of the natto mixed nicely with the rice. The highlight of the soup curry for me is the chunky vegetables, which were soft and delicious. The chicken was tender and easily cut with a spoon. I think a spice level of 7 would have been better for me. I didn't find it very spicy. I mixed it poorly, so in the end, it turned into mostly natto rice. Personally, I prefer a soft-boiled egg over a seasoned egg.

The chicken, vegetables, rice, and even the nori on top of the rice were all extremely delicious! The extra large portion was free, and you could choose between white rice and brown rice, but the extra large portion of white rice was the right choice (^_^)v I recommend going for lunch on weekdays because you can get free refills! You can choose the spiciness level for free from 0 to 100, and I went with 10 which was perfect for me! I like spicy food but I'm not great with it, so personally it was just the right level of spiciness! If I go again, I want to try the level 20 spiciness (^^) There were mostly women in the restaurant, and there were counter seats as well, making it a good option for solo lunches.

Finally, the full-fledged deep winter has arrived, and to protect my body from this extraordinary cold, I decided to go for soup curry, which is a popular choice in Shimokitazawa with a wide range of options. I visited Kokoro, which boasts a long history and popularity. The lunchtime was overflowing with customers, but I managed to avoid the rush by sitting on the terrace. The young staff members created a lively atmosphere.
- Bone-in Chicken Soup Curry: 1280 yen
- Fried Eggplant: 100 yen
- Tomato: 100 yen
The curry soup, infused with the flavor of tomatoes and broth, was enhanced by the special "burnt basil." It was delicious. The chicken was tender and fell off the bone easily. The separation of the meat from the bone was impressive. Although the chicken skin was a bit unnecessary, the carrots were sweet and added a nice touch. The brown rice (130g) was fluffy and paired well with the soup. I usually discard the meat in soup curry, so I focused on enjoying the flavorful soup and vegetables. However, the curry was not as hot as I had hoped for warming up my body from the core. It was just the right temperature. I apologize for being particular about the temperature of food. The spiciness level 7 was not very stimulating, and I also noticed a variety of lassi options on the menu, which seemed popular among the younger crowd. I might try it out in the spring.

I ordered bone-in chicken soup curry. The menu is extensive and allows for a high level of customization, such as choosing the spiciness of the curry, type of rice, and portion size. This makes it a great place for people who enjoy spicy food, those who are not fans of it, big eaters, and light eaters to all dine together. Despite being a popular restaurant with long lines, they handled the queues efficiently, allowing us to get our meal quickly. The interior was also nice, and the taste and service were excellent.

I went to a soup curry restaurant and had pork and vegetable soup curry! There are various types with different combinations of ingredients. The pork and vegetable soup curry I had this time included pork shabu-shabu with root vegetables. It also had red core daikon, making it colorful. You can choose between white rice and brown rice, and I chose brown rice. You can also choose the level of spiciness. I also tried the limited-time vegetable lassi on that day. It's a great place to stop by while enjoying shopping in Shimokitazawa.

The soup curry restaurant in Sapporo main store is also a popular spot in the super competitive curry area of Shimo-Kitazawa. They simmer 14 ingredients for 10 hours, blend 20 herbs with a broth base. You can choose your toppings, spiciness level, brown rice or white rice, and the amount of rice, which is very convenient. The bone-in chicken meat was tender and delicious. The curry itself had a nice thickness and was satisfying. The popular curry shops in Shimo-Kitazawa have long lines starting before opening on weekends, so I want to enjoy curry and thrift shopping on a less crowded weekday.

⭐️I visited the restaurant for weekend lunch a little after the usual time and found that other soup curry restaurants had already sold out of tickets or were very crowded, so I decided to avoid the lunch rush.⭐️I ordered the Vegetable Soup Curry for 1380 yen, and the freshly fried tonkatsu with plenty of vegetables soup curry for 1880 yen. You can also add extra bacon for 300 yen. Takeout is also available.⭐️I brought a baby stroller inside. Be careful as there are steps. The curry is full of ingredients! The soup is a bit spicy with pepper, but delicious. It's helpful that you can choose a smaller portion of rice. I'm glad they are open all day!

I set the spiciness level to 4. I think I can handle Carbonara flavor with Pulldak, but 4 was just right. I should have gone for 5 or 6, I think. I had natto and okra soup curry. It was delicious and goes well with brown rice.

I use this place when I want to eat vegetables! The natural taste of the vegetables is emphasized, so it's not like regular curry. Maybe that's why it's called soup curry? I usually get 1.5 times the amount of soup because there isn't much. I like it spicy, around level 10-15. They have a wide range of spice levels to choose from, so it's good for people who don't like it too spicy or those who love it hot. You can choose between brown rice and white rice, which is great. The portion size is generous, and you'll definitely leave feeling full. The fact that you can get a free large portion is a nice touch! I often come here when I want to eat something healthy and filling.

When I visited, there was a curry festival in Shimokitazawa. I ordered a half portion of a curry with chunky vegetables (I completely forgot the name). Various vegetables were floating in the curry in their raw, naked state. There was half a boiled egg and a small hamburger as well. The soup curry had the umami of vegetables and protein melting in. I savored each mouthful, chewing on the energy of the ingredients. It's great that you can adjust the type and amount of rice at this shop. In Shimokitazawa, where unique curries abound, I thought this curry shop was full of hospitality.

A soup curry restaurant in Shimokitazawa that I've been curious about for a while but haven't had the chance to visit until now. The lunch set is 990 yen! You can choose from two types of curry. It comes with salad, dessert, and oolong tea, and you can also choose the level of spiciness, type of rice (white or brown), and portion size. This time, I chose chicken soup curry with brown rice! The soup is quite spicy and has a deep flavor. Delicious! The brown rice is also tasty. Lately, curry can cost around 1500 yen, so getting this set for 990 yen is a great deal! I'll definitely go back again! Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the festival limited mini curry for 950 yen and a mango lassi for 200 yen. I'm happy that you can choose the spiciness level and rice quantity. It has big chunks of vegetables and the hamburger is delicious! Most of all, the mango lassi is a great value at 200 yen with its rich and creamy quality. Thank you for the meal.

The heart of the restaurant is the soup curry shop. It is operated by Ueno Window. The president is Daishi Usui. The soup curry I ate had a variety of vegetables, providing a day's worth of vegetables and giving me energy. It is very healthy. The hot pumpkin is good. The bone-in chicken is tender and the meat melts in your mouth. Bone-in chicken and a day's worth of vegetable curry for 1900 yen. Mango lassi for 200 yen.
