On this day, I visited the area around Yoyogi-Hachiman and Yoyogi-Uehara. The winter 2023 anime series are starting to air and be streamed one after another. Apart from family-friendly and kids' anime, I have a strange sense of duty to watch them all... I counted and realized that I have plans to watch 59 shows from the 2023 winter anime lineup. I might be one of the top anime viewers in Japan, aside from industry professionals. However, I can't even provide decent reviews despite watching them all. This season, I am particularly looking forward to "Vinland Saga 2nd Season" and "Kaina of the Great Snow Sea." The world created by Makoto Yukimura is amazing. As someone who watches anime every day, I visited "365 Days" bakery. Sorry for the irrelevant introduction as always. True to its name, "365 Days" bakery is open every day without a break, except on February 29th of leap years. The main store is located in Yoyogi-Uehara, and I had previously visited the branch in Nihonbashi, making this my second visit. The bakery recently moved to the former location of the related bakery "15℃." Although it has not yet entered the top 100 ranking due to the reset, it is undoubtedly a high-level bakery. The exterior is glass with wooden doors, combining Japanese and Western elements. The tiled sign with the store name is stylish. The interior is very spacious, with a wide variety of products beyond just bread. They offer cakes, vegetables, eggs, cheese, and various seasonings, as well as coffee, dishes, and glasses. The bread lineup is extensive, with many small and cute shapes that cater to those who like to try a little of everything. Here is what I ate: - Potato: Bacon and rosemary in a dough with male potatoes. - Comté Cheese x 24 Months: Comté cheese aged for 24 months with béchamel sauce. - Apple Crumble: Apple compote with crispy cookie dough on top. - 365 Days Shokupan: Blend of Fukuoka's "Minamino Ho" and Hokkaido's "Yumekichara." - Pistachio x Cranberry: Cranberries mixed in fluffy bread with pistachio cookie dough. - Eve Cacao: Croissant with 48% cocoa chocolate and Yuzu orange peel. - Chestnut Pie: Chestnut paste and almond cream in a crispy pie crust. - Landne Rye: Rye bread with white figs, walnuts, chickpeas, oats, and white sesame. - Yuzu x Banana: Yuzu peel and raisins in the dough with almond cream and banana inside. - Curry Bread: Homemade curry with minced domestic pork and sweet potato paste cooked with hojicha. - Croquant Chocolat: Chocolate ganache with crunchy chocolate balls.

Famous bakery in Yoyogi-Hachiman. The shop has moved without me noticing, so I decided to drop by. The shop is located where there used to be a cafe affiliated with it. As soon as you enter, you see a showcase with bread such as shokupan, and showcases on the left and right with various types of bread. There is no cafe space, but there is a space for selling books and food groceries. The bread neatly arranged in a boutique-like fashion looks stylish. The staff at the shop are polite and pleasant. In terms of crowd, it was not crowded around 10 am on a holiday. At first, there was no one, but before I knew it, there were 4-5 people. The customers were diverse. The shop offers a variety of stylish bread, as well as sweets and sandwiches. The total cost was 4,510 yen for items such as croissant, pain au chocolat, apple cinnamon bread, hatake bread, lemon milk france, quiche lorraine, raisin bread, honey toast, cocoa bread, and cold brew coffee. Review: The croissant was crispy and moist, with a slightly chewy texture. It had a good amount of butter and a hint of sweetness, making it delicious. The pain au chocolat was very chewy and had a wheaty aroma. The apple cinnamon bread had a chewy texture that was enjoyable to bite into, with a taste of apple and cinnamon. The hatake bread had a striking appearance with lots of green leafy vegetables on top, giving a crunchy texture and a fresh leafy aroma. The lemon milk france had a mild sweetness from white chocolate, complemented by the acidity of lemon. The bread was fluffy and delicious. The quiche lorraine was simple but very tasty, with cheese and bacon. The raisin bread, a new item, was fluffy and chewy, with the sweetness of raisins and the aroma of almonds. The honey toast had a crispy and juicy sweetness. The cocoa bread had a rich chocolate flavor on a chewy dough. The cold brew coffee was surprisingly delicious, with a fruity acidity like dark cherry and a cocoa-like richness. Overall, the bread was stylish and delicious, although not as shocking as before due to having tried various types in the past. But it was still tasty. At the time of posting, the shop had a rating of 3.64 on Tabelog, with 289 reviews and 16,012 saves.

When visiting around 11:20, about 6 customers entered the shop. The smell of curry bread was enticing and made me hungry. The appearance of the croissant chocolate was cute and would surely look good in photos if taken well, but it was quite small and not cost-effective at 454 yen.

365 Days is a very popular shop in Yoyogi-Hachiman, open every day. I have visited 365 Days in Nihonbashi before, but this was my first time at this location. Even though I have had opportunities to get off at Yoyogi-Hachiman station, I had never visited this shop nearby, which is quite strange. This time, I purchased four types of bread: 365 Days Shokupan, Pain de Fruits (a bread with two types of raisins and white figs mixed with Yuzu peel), Tomato and Olive (a chewy bread with semi-dried tomatoes, green olives, and cheese as accents), and Maize (a corn bread). The 365 Days Shokupan is a mini-sized square loaf, which is very convenient for my small family. When toasted and lightly buttered, it tastes incredibly delicious, bringing out the natural flavor of the wheat flour. Pain de Fruits was a new experience for me, and I was impressed by its high quality. The dense weight of the dried fruits combined with the firm yet not too hard texture of the bread was very enjoyable. The dried tomatoes, green olives, and corn Maize bread each had their own depth of flavor. Both the Yoyogi-Hachiman and Nihonbashi branches of 365 Days are truly of high quality and wonderful. Thank you for the delicious meal, I will definitely visit again.

Visiting time: Around 3:00 PM Crowdedness: 20% Food tried: - Fukuoka Shokupan (411 yen): Simple taste but with fine texture and high density. Glossy mouthfeel and just the right chewiness. - Noir Lesan (378 yen): A hard type. Bursting with umami as you chew. I really like this one. - Sombre San (335 yen): Lots of air bubbles, slightly hard on the outside. The inside is chewy, overall resembling French bread. I want to try sandwiching ham and cheese next time.

I visited the bakery twice in one day, once in the morning and once in the evening. At 10:30, there were about 8 customers in the shop, but it wasn't crowded. I bought the Honey Toast and it was so delicious that I went back to buy another one. The crispy texture and the honey flavor were amazing! The Cannele had a crispy outer layer and a moist inside with a nice vanilla flavor. The Regine had almond cream on top that melted in your mouth, balancing the sweetness and acidity of the raisins in the bread. The Fruit Bread had large raisins, figs, and yuzu peels, giving it a fresh and fruity taste. The Yuzu Chocolate had a nice balance of bitter and sweet chocolate with a hint of yuzu. The Apple Cinnamon had a strong cinnamon aroma and chunks of apple that enhanced the sweetness. The Croissant Chocolate was a signature item, but the bread was a bit dry and the chocolate lacked flavor.

I had a Croquant Chocolat for 422 yen, a Red Bean Bun for 292 yen, and a Croissant for 303 yen. It had been a year and a half since I last visited, but I was pleased to find that the atmosphere was still stylish and the bread was delicious as always.

A well-known bakery in Yoyogi-Hachiman that offers not only bread, but also cheese, cakes, and wine. When recommended freshly baked bread, I always buy it without hesitation. It's really soft and delicious. It seems to be less crowded around 2 pm on weekdays, so if you want to take your time and choose what to buy, I recommend visiting at that time!

Casual daytime visit. Around 13:00 with about 4 people inside the store. They immediately offered a small cup of iced coffee for tasting upon entering, which was a nice touch. The iced coffee was fruity and delicious. The store offers a variety of specialty bread, cakes, and deli bread. The selection is quite extensive, making it difficult to decide what to eat. The popular items are the croissant chocolate and red bean paste bread. Ordered the white bean paste bread for 292 yen, Pain Perdu for 281 yen, and Ham and Egg for 389 yen. Total of 962 yen for the three items. Overall, the bread is on the smaller side. The white bean paste bread had a smooth and elegant sweetness, with a delicious aroma of wheat in the bread. The sesame seeds on top added a nice touch. Delicious. Pain Perdu is like a brioche French toast. The texture was chewy and had a good level of sweetness, but it was just too ordinary. It was so average that I wouldn't even buy it from a convenience store. The Ham and Egg was the most delicious. The chewy bread was topped with a generous amount of egg salad. The bread had a chewy texture and the egg salad had tiny green leaves scattered throughout. I thought it was parsley, but when I tried just the leaves, it turned out to be cilantro! Even though I'm not a fan of cilantro, I didn't even notice it. The seasoning of the egg salad matched perfectly. There were large pieces of ham underneath as well. It was delicious, but not mind-blowing. Compared to bakeries that are so delicious they leave you in awe, this bakery is just average. The prices are decent, but because the portion size is small, it may feel a bit expensive. The atmosphere and selection of the store are good.

I got takeout. I forgot to take a photo of the croissant, but the 100% Sombursan was amazing!! The croissant was crispy and delicious, while the 100% Sombursan was chewy and addicting! I want to try their cakes next time!

There is also a store in Nihonbashi called 365 Days. In the morning, there was a lively atmosphere with overseas tourists eating bread in front of the shop. Inside the store, not only bread but also stylish flowers, books, and miscellaneous goods are sold. The main bread is made small and cute, but it seems to be a bit pricey for its size. My personal recommendation is the vegetable French toast (Hatake) and the white bean paste bun. Both are not large in size, but the dough is chewy and you can enjoy the deliciousness of the ingredients. I think it would be nice to stop by for a walk date or when exploring Yoyogi Uehara ^^

I think it's a stable shop. I tend to stop by without thinking. It's fun to look at products other than bread when the store is a bit bigger. I went for sweeter desserts for the evening rather than breakfast. Both the white and black anpan are delicious. I prefer the white one because it has a hint of saltiness. The lemon muffin was delicious with its acidity and the slight crunch of chia seeds. I enjoyed the bread and sweets without relying on a cake shop. Thank you for the meal.

When I headed to Tecna, it was closed, so I went to a nearby place instead. I bought a Yorupan for 351 yen (130 grams) and an apple cinnamon bread for 292 yen. The Yorupan was baked quite firmly, with some parts of the skin looking black. The inside was soft and chewy. The apple cinnamon bread had a bagel-like dough with cinnamon-flavored apples inside, making it deliciously chewy. I really liked it.

While taking a walk in Yoyogi Park, I stumbled upon a cute bakery. Apart from bread, they also sold cakes, groceries, and other food items. I was surprised by the price of around 500 yen for one piece, but after trying the Hatake (which made a big impression) and Tomato and Olive breads, I was satisfied. The Tomato and Olive bread had a chewy and delicious dough, while the Hatake had a bacon and mushroom flavor. I wonder what the topping was made of? Delicious!

I bought bread from a popular bakery at Isetan and I loved it so much that I bought it again! I purchased their signature buttery sweet bread and the crunchy croissant filled with chocolate ganache, which was delicious. Personally, I really enjoyed the honey toast with plenty of honey and a crispy texture, and I would love to have it again!

I went there after a long time. I went around 3 PM on a Sunday and miraculously they had Croissant Chocolat! I ended up buying two of them. The Olive Oil bread with cheese was also delicious. The timing was really perfect!

On Saturday at 6:38 pm, the selection was quite limited. The plain gorgonzola scone was dense and heavy, with a unique deliciousness that reminded me more of a Japanese side dish than bread. It was tasty, but not enough to make me want to go back for more. However, I think it has a deliciousness that is hard to find elsewhere.

Near Yoyogi Park Station, there is a bakery that is famous for its croissant chocolat, pain aux raisins, and 365 days bread. However, my favorite here is their baguette. My family of three can finish a baguette in no time, so we usually buy two and freeze the leftovers after slicing them. On this day, I went to buy a baguette and remembered that I hadn't reviewed it on Tabelog, so I took a few photos inside the store. The croissants, canelés, and white anpan in the photos are delicious, and my son's favorite brioche and honey toast are also frequently purchased here. The bakery lives up to its name by being open 365 days a year, and I rely on it daily. It's my favorite bakery.

The unique and stylish breads, as well as the attractive selection of pastries, were satisfying. It was a popular spot, so there was a bit of a line even on a weekday at lunchtime. They also sold stylish items other than bread, so I'd like to take my time and look around next time! The exterior was also very cute!

I got hooked on "365 Days and Nihonbashi" in Takashimaya and visited the main store. They offer cakes for takeout, as shown in the photo. The breads are simple and delicious, with the potato = male baron and the iyokan × banana being especially tasty. The bakery, with its cute names and delicious bread, is definitely worth a visit.
