A beloved hamburger joint in Ikebukuro that burger enthusiasts rave about. The restaurant, founded by brothers Keiyo Hasegawa and Masahiro Hasegawa in September 2014, is known for its unique patty made from 100% pork shoulder. The patty is meticulously prepared to remove any tough parts, resulting in a tender texture similar to fillet meat. The buns, specially made by Mineya, are crispy and complement the flavorful patty well. I tried the Avocado Cheese Burger this time, and it was delicious as always.

"Tabelog Top 100 Restaurant. A highly popular restaurant in Ikebukuro known for its long lines. It seems to be pronounced as Number 28. I passed by on a rainy weekend around 12 o'clock, and the line was surprisingly shorter than usual, so I decided to give it a try. I waited for about 30 minutes as the 6th person in line. They brought the menu while waiting in line, and the service was very friendly. There are counter seats and tables for one person, creating a comfortable atmosphere for solo diners. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger (1800 yen), Potato (200 yen), and Drink (200 yen). They asked for the doneness of the burger, and the recommended option was medium rare. The aroma of the buns, the savory bacon, perfectly cooked patty, melty cheese, neatly folded crisp lettuce, thick slices of red tomato – what a beautiful presentation. The crispy surface and fluffy texture inside the freshly baked buns were impressive. This burger stood out as my favorite among those I've had recently. The juicy and meaty patty provided a satisfying bite, with the right amount of salt to enhance the meat's flavor. The bacon was exceptional, layered and easy to bite through, unlike the crunchy bacon in many burgers that can disrupt the overall texture. The soft bacon balanced well with other ingredients, making it a remarkable addition. A distinctive feature was the orange mustard, adding a subtle acidity and sweetness to bring everything together smoothly. It almost resembled orange peel. I'd like to try it simple without lettuce and tomato. The potato was crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, with a deliciously light saltiness. The pleasant and friendly service made the entire stay comfortable. Truly a burger worthy of being in the top 100, definitely worth the wait!"

【Restaurant】No.18【Location】Ikebukuro Station, Tokyo【Order】◇Caramel Bacon Cheeseburger【Note】A hamburger that features a caramel-like flavor by searing the goat cheese. There is no actual caramel in it. The rich goat cheese and patty made with lean meat complement each other perfectly.【Other】Although slightly away from Ikebukuro Station, this is a popular spot with long lines. For those who don't want to wait, it's recommended to make a reservation for the evening.

Ikebukuro Station East Exit is quite a walk ^_^ There is a popular ramen shop nearby, but I decided to visit here instead. I visited during lunchtime and there was a 3-person wait. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger for 1800 yen, Potato for 200 yen, and Cola for 200 yen. The meat was juicy and very delicious.

I was looking for a delicious ramen shop in the back streets of Higashi Ikebukuro, but I ended up finding a fantastic burger shop instead! Located in a quiet residential area across from Kasuga Street in Ikebukuro, No.18 is a popular restaurant where you might have to wait in line even at night. The staff kindly asked us to come back at a certain time to avoid disturbing the residents, so we left and returned later. I tried their Avocado Bacon Cheeseburger, which features a patty made of 100% beef shoulder loin steak. They recommended it cooked medium rare, and it was delicious! The burger had thinly sliced avocado with a smoky bacon accent, and the cheese melted beautifully over the patty. Each bite was a symphony of flavors! The meat in the patty was not uniformly ground, giving it a nice texture. I also ordered their homemade onion rings, which had a crispy outer coating and tender onions inside. For drinks, I couldn't resist pairing the burger with an off-cocktail. Overall, it was a delicious meal!

I ordered the avocado cheeseburger. The drink and fries were not included in the price. They recommended the patty to be cooked medium rare, so I chose that. The patty was delicious and the buns were also amazing! I visited on a weekday for lunch and the wait time was about 50 minutes.

Ikebukuro No.18. There were empty seats available. Avocado Cheeseburger (1,800 yen) was ready in 12 minutes. The buns were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, absorbing the essence of the fillings and delicious! The avocado's sweetness, tomato's acidity, and lettuce's crunchiness made the fillings delicious! The patty had a texture more like steak than a hamburger, and paired perfectly with the cheese! Just one thing, I wore a white shirt and found it difficult to eat, ended up spilling the burger on my shirt, turning it red and green. Cry.

For lunch, I ordered a Bacon Mozzarella Cheese Burger with a line of 5 people, and added a Coke and fries for an extra 200 yen each. I might have preferred Cheddar Cheese instead. The burger options are limited with no custom toppings, so it's slightly less customizable compared to other places. The burger and fries were neatly presented.

A popular burger joint located about a 10-minute walk from Ikebukuro. When I visited around 2 PM, there was a line with a 30-minute wait. The long line may be due to its popularity, but the turnover rate seems quite low. The wait for the food was about 20 minutes, possibly due to their commitment to quality. However, the burgers were top-notch. I ordered the Bacon Mozzarella Cheese Burger (1800 yen + 200 yen for fries), which was quite large. The first bite of the big burger was enjoyable. They ran out of bacon, but they used their homemade bacon as a substitute. As a first-time visitor, I couldn't tell the difference, but the thick patty provided a satisfying bite. The patty was cooked medium-rare and juicy. The buns were crispy on the outside and held up well against the bacon and patty. The buns were spread with mustard sauce. The fries seemed freshly fried. As someone with a sensitive palate, they were quite hot. Despite the long wait, the satisfaction from the food was high.

We went to "No.18," which was selected as one of the top 100 hamburger restaurants, with my daughter. The nearest station is Ikebukuro. The restaurant became a hot topic when it was visited by Shirota Shun and Takahashi Kaito from King & Prince in the old location. We arrived at the restaurant on Saturday at 12:51 and joined a line of 8 people. The food was served at 13:17 for reference. We ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger (1,800 yen), which is made with 100% steak meat, more like a steak than a patty, and you can choose the doneness of the meat. When we ordered, we were asked, "Is medium rare okay for the doneness?" and we agreed. The burger had a dynamic flavor with a distinct umami taste of red meat, and the crispy buns were also great. Oh, this is delicious. If you want to add a side menu, you can add potatoes for an additional 200 yen, and if you want a drink, it's an extra 200 yen.

First of all, it takes more than 7 minutes on foot. lol I arrived before 2 pm on Saturday, but there were 6 groups ahead of me and I was the only one waiting alone. After waiting for about 30 minutes, the two people behind me were told that the meat was sold out. Tough luck!! The exterior has a modern feel and looks stylish! The interior is not the typical American style you would expect from a burger joint, but rather clean and more like a ramen shop. Being able to choose the doneness of the meat gets me excited ♡ The recommended option is medium rare. A burger where you can choose the doneness of the meat is definitely delicious because they have confidence in it♪ ・Mozzarella Cheese Burger (¥1,500) ・Potato (+¥200) I don't like avocado, which girls usually love, so I only ordered a cheeseburger haha I waited longer (about 10 minutes) than at other burger joints, but the excitement when it finally arrived was worth it♪♪ (including the time waiting in line, this was the longest wait I've had) The sweetness and subtle fruity flavor of the orange mustard sauce spread in my mouth, and the juicy texture of the medium rare meat was absolutely amazing♡♡♡

The next day was a day off, as I saw on Instagram, and the restaurant was only accepting reservations. We had made a reservation so we were able to enter, but it felt a bit awkward due to the private booking. The staff explained that due to Obon, they were unable to restock meat and were running low on ingredients. The meat was delicious and had a nice smoky flavor! I would love to go back again. ✌️

Ikebukuro boasts a hamburger shop with beautifully cut avocados in their burgers. It's crowded, so it's better to make a reservation. Their burgers have a refreshing taste and are easy to eat. The avocado is a perfect accent without overpowering the flavor. Medium rare is recommended for the cooking level. The onion rings on the side are delicious! Truly a top-notch restaurant. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I rushed in right before the end of the lunch hour, but there was still a line, so I waited for about 30 minutes. I ordered the most popular avocado cheeseburger, which was delicious because I love avocado. It becomes a decent price when you order it as a set.

I was really looking forward to it, but the burger was not as junky as I thought and it wasn't delicious. The meat was maybe good at medium, but the sauce didn't have much flavor, it was like a sweet marmalade-like sauce, so I didn't really like it. I went around 1 pm on a weekday and didn't have to wait in line, which was good, but the restaurant is small so there aren't many seats. I also ordered the teriyaki burger, but it didn't have much flavor either, so it may not be suitable for those who like junky food.

Here is a highly recommended restaurant by a friend. Tokyo Rocks is very picky about hamburgers because they have lived in America for a long time, but this was their first visit and the bar was set quite high. I went there a few months ago, and right after that, it was featured on a TV show, causing a crazy long line. Luckily, I was able to visit before the line got crazy. The seating was limited, similar to a small ramen shop, but when I visited around 2 pm on a weekday, there were only four people in total - two at the counter and two at the tables, so I was able to get in right away. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. What surprised me the most was that the French fries were sold separately. It was the first time I experienced ordering a burger at a restaurant and not having fries come with it. I ordered a cola to drink, and about 10 minutes later, it was ready! The appearance was that of a trendy gourmet burger, with lettuce folded neatly and thickly sliced tomatoes. There was no ketchup or mustard, just an original sauce spread on it. When I took a bite, I first tasted the sweetness of the buns, followed by the meatiness of the patty. I thought the patty was delicious, but the buns and original sauce might be a matter of personal preference for traditional burger lovers. The French fries were the standard thickness and taste you would expect from an American diner, and I absolutely loved them. I finished it in no time, and when I looked outside, there were about three people waiting in line. Thank you for the meal.

There was a sign saying "reservation only", but since I was alone and the turnover of customers was good, they kindly allowed me to enter without a reservation.
[Atmosphere]
The restaurant has a stylish concrete exterior and a very simple and clean interior. There are 6 counter seats and 3 table seats, creating a cozy and intimate atmosphere with a capacity of around 15 people.

I had the Avocado Cheese Burger and the Spicy Ginger Ale Burger. The Avocado Cheese Burger had generously piled avocado, refreshing thick slices of tomato, and a medium rare patty made of coarsely ground meat. The presentation was like a work of art, with beautiful colors and a juicy meat flavor complemented by a mustard-based tangy sauce. The aroma of the perfectly grilled buns was delightful. The burgers are sold as individual items, so if you want a side dish, you'll need to order it separately. The burgers have a satisfyingly substantial portion.
[Service]
They provided a rare hot towel at a burger joint, and even brought a new one when I finished eating. The staff made sure to make eye contact and provided excellent service, making it a wonderful dining experience. This place is a must-visit for burger enthusiasts. I'm thinking of trying it with bacon next time...

I tried to go to "Japanese Ramen Gokan" in Ikebukuro, but ended up here at "No.18" instead. The restaurant is rated 3.69 out of 5 on Tabelog (at the time of visit). There was a line even before the store opened, but I managed to get in on the first round! I ordered the Avocado Cheese Burger for 1800 yen. The burger comes wrapped in paper, and you unwrap it to take a bite! You can choose the doneness of the patty, with the default being medium rare, but the staff will ask if you're okay with that. The buns are a step above your typical burger buns, with a crispy top and fluffy bottom. The lettuce, tomato, and creamy avocado are fresh and delicious. The patty is juicy and flavorful. The orange mustard adds a nice touch. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is stylish and great for a date. Thank you for the meal!

I went for lunch on a holiday! There were 5 groups in line, and I waited for about 40 minutes! The staff kindly informed us how long the wait would be, which I appreciated. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and chili beans! The burger was juicy and delicious, with a soft and crispy bun! The orange mustard added a nice touch and was very tasty! The chili beans had lots of meat and paired well with the potatoes! The portion was just right for sharing between two people. When I want to eat a burger again, I would like to use this place again ^_^

Visited around 7:00 pm on a Sunday. The interior space was a bit smaller than I had imagined, but had a stylish cafe vibe. If you make a reservation, it's a one drink minimum. I didn't have any issues with that since I wouldn't eat a burger without something to drink anyway. It took about 15 minutes for the food to be served. The buns were nicely crispy. The patty had a unique texture, something called a "hand chop" that seems to be trendy in Tokyo. It was different from a regular minced hamburger, but very tasty. Also, I accidentally left my bag behind and the staff kindly chased after me for over 200m to return it. I hadn't even realized I had forgotten it. Thank you to the staff for that.

No.18 Avocado Mozzarella Cheese Burger in Ikebukuro. This hamburger shop seems to be quite popular, as there was a long line when I arrived around 1 pm. The seating inside the shop is limited, and the turnover rate is low due to the nature of hamburgers. I was worried if I would make it in time for the last order at 3 pm. Some people behind me in line were told they wouldn't be able to enter if they didn't make it by 3 pm. I finally got a seat. It's unusual for a hamburger shop to have only one table and the rest all counter seats. Watching the buns and patties being grilled right in front of you adds to the excitement and anticipation. The moment when the cheese is melted with a burner is worth the wait in line. To accompany this, I had a draft Carlsberg beer. Draft Carlsberg beer was a rare find. It didn't taste as good because it was hot outside. They bake buns and patties in batches, similar to a certain ramen shop. And then it arrived. I squeezed the thick burger and savored it. It was blissful. The rich flavor of the meat paired perfectly with the Mozzarella cheese. The avocado also went well with the cheese, surprising me. While I had the impression that hamburger cheese was Cheddar cheese, choosing Mozzarella cheese was the right decision. The balance of vegetables and meat was good, allowing me to enjoy the meat juice and cheese to the fullest. The compatibility with beer was also excellent. This is definitely something you should eat with beer. It was the best hamburger shop I've been to recently. It was worth the wait in line, and I was happy. #TokyoGourmet #IkebukuroGourmet #IkebukuroLunch #No.18 #Hamburger #HamburgerTour #HamburgerClub #HamburgerShop #HamburgerJoint #ConnectWithHamburgerLovers #LoveHamburgers #Burgers #GourmetBurgers #GourmetBurgerTour #GourmetBurgerClub #Carlsberg #Beer #BeerClub #GourmetInstagram #ConnectWithFoodies #ConnectWithGourmetLovers #GourmetGram #ConnectWithGourmetLovers #TabelogRating3.5OrAbove #TabelogTop100 #foodie
