Visited around 3:00 pm on a weekday in March 2023. Despite knowing that the exterior wouldn't look like a typical bakery, I was surprised by the otherworldly feel of the facade! I was a bit confused by the ordering system at first, but eventually managed to place my order after catching the attention of a staff member working inside. The menu was a bit unclear as they would take down the menu card when items ran out, but I still had a decent selection to choose from at this time of day! The friendly names and reasonable prices were a nice touch! ▶︎ Eggplant and Bacon Tomato Focaccia 280 yen This was my first time trying such a fluffy and chewy focaccia! The bread itself was incredibly delicious! The refreshing acidity of the tomato, along with the perfect balance of sweetness, paired beautifully with the eggplant and bacon. I was a bit full before eating it, but the taste was so good that I forgot all about feeling full! ▶︎ Kabochan 280 yen A pumpkin paste and vegan cream cheese sandwiched between a naturally leavened bread with a unique flavor. The pumpkin paste had just the right amount of sweetness, making it suitable for both a dessert or a meal! ▶︎ Zunbachan 130 yen This is what you would call a round bread. The round bread from a bakery with such dedication is simply the best...! The chewy texture, the aroma of wheat, and a hint of sweetness. It's delicious on its own, but I bet it would taste amazing with something in between. Highly recommended for bread lovers! It's a shame that they only operate on weekdays, making it hard to visit, but the bread was truly delicious...! Thank you for the meal!

Kanda Station is about a 7-minute walk away. It's a small Asian-looking bakery that doesn't look like a bakery at first glance. There are so many unique bread options to choose from, but today I purchased the following breads for a total of 840 yen: - Dried shrimp and shiitake focaccia for 280 yen: The aroma of dried shrimp stands out, and the combination with shiitake, cheese, and a basil-like sauce is exquisite and very delicious. - Apple cinnamon roll for 280 yen: This bread is dense and moist, with a good amount of sweet cinnamon cream and apples that make it very tasty. This is also a recommended bread. - "Sake Kasu-chan" for 280 yen: This bread is also heavy, with a strong aroma and flavor of sake lees, and the raisins add a nice touch. It's very delicious and may be recommended for sake lovers. I enjoyed all of them until the end. Thank you for the meal. All the breads were unique and had good value for money, so I will definitely be coming back.

Visited on August 4, 2023 at 12:19. There were no customers in the store at the time of the visit, so I was able to enter right away. On this day, I purchased a Cashew Nut Bagel with Kinako and Anko, a Fully Ripe Banana and Date Caramel, and one other item (I forgot the name, but it was a sweet potato bread) for a total of 840 yen. I tried the Fully Ripe Banana and Date Caramel, and it was delicious with a fluffy bread and generous filling. The bread itself was also quite large, so I was very satisfied.

Located a little away from the bustling area of Kanda, this bakery has an exterior that doesn't look like a typical bakery, which was a bit surprising. They have bread displayed outside and inside a showcase, and you can ask the staff to pick them up for you. What surprised me was that about half of their bread was vegan. While there is a vegan bakery in Shimokitazawa, it's great to see a place where both vegans and non-vegans can enjoy. I ordered the dried daikon radish (vegan), beef tendon, and avocado bacon (each 260 yen). They were all very delicious. When it suddenly started pouring rain during my visit, they even lent me an umbrella, which was very thoughtful. I really liked this place and would love to visit again when I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

A little walk from Ogawa Town, there is a bakery that is a bit hidden and looks like an abandoned building. Despite its appearance, it is actually a top-notch bakery. I bought a pumpkin and walnut bagel for ¥260 this time.

Visited the store before 12 PM on Friday, July 14, 2023. The exterior looked a bit unique. I had been curious about the type of store it was, and it turned out they sold bread. Their specialty seemed to be sourdough and vegan options. I bought a Spicy Ginger Bagel (¥240) and a Simit (¥280). I heated them up at home. The Simit is a Turkish bread with a sweet surface and sesame seeds. It's vegan-friendly and has a mild taste. The bagel had a hint of spice, although I couldn't quite pinpoint the exact flavor. It was a unique type of bread.

I had some business at Kanda Station and decided to visit this place that had caught my eye! It was a surprising sight to see a space surrounded by grass suddenly appear in the office district. Upon closer inspection, I found a showcase at the back displaying unique bread. I bought a focaccia and a chocolate bread for 560 yen each, and both were delicious! I was in a hurry this time, so I would like to visit again and take my time next time.

I bought 3 pieces for 820 yen (although there are 2 in the photo). It was a good deal because they were satisfying to eat. I ate the lemon one before taking a picture. Lemon flavor is refreshing in the summer, but I'm not a big fan. I reheated the kabocha one and it was delicious. It filled my stomach and left me feeling satisfied after eating.

I went to Kanda and bought some bread here. The exterior of the shop was quite wild. There were various types of bread to choose from. The lemon cream bread called "Lemone" was delicious. The curry bread had a nice vegetable texture. The walnut bagel was also tasty.

Shop name: Atsunko Pan Location: Ogawacho Located about a 7-minute walk from Ogawacho Station, in front of a building surrounded by greenery, there was a unique bakery called Atsunko Pan. The bakery had a stand-like atmosphere with turtles and goldfish, giving off a very distinctive vibe. They start at 11:30, so it's better to go early as the variety tends to run out quickly. I went early and purchased the Apple Cinnamon and Beef Curry Pan. The Apple Cinnamon bread was very moist with chunks of apples inside, and it was delicious. The Beef Curry Pan had incredibly tasty beef curry inside, although the bread was a bit burnt from frying. Nevertheless, the generous filling made it satisfying and tasty. It was a bakery with a mysterious atmosphere, but the quality of the bread was definitely worth it!

⭐️Food Log Bread 100 Famous Shops Visit on Thursday, June at 13:30 • Beet Bagel for 260 yen The beet is kneaded into the dough with walnuts as an accent, making it a healthy menu. It had a good balance of sweetness and didn't feel boring. It seems that visiting at this time was late. It was disappointing as I had high expectations for a weekday visit, which seems difficult. I am interested in trying other breads, so I would like to repeat if I can make the opportunity.

It is a unique atmosphere at this shop. I found it a bit intimidating at first, but the owner approached me and it was very helpful. I tried the Kinako and Anko Cashew Nut Bagel for 240 yen, which was quite heavy. It was filled with plenty of anko and cashew nuts inside. I enjoyed it with a coffee in hand.

Visit time: 14:40 on a weekday Waiting time: None Menu: I thought they might have run out of bread already, but there were a few left. They had a variety of vegan dishes with a focus on vegetables. - Soy meat veggie curry bun (280 yen): The spiciness was just right, with lots of big vegetables that you could really taste in the curry bun. - Soy hummus (280 yen) Thank you for the meal.

This bakery is a challenging place to visit due to its short opening hours. I arrived just after opening and was served by the unique owner. I ordered a Spicy Ginger Bagel and a Blueberry Chocolate. The Spicy Ginger Bagel had a nice bitterness and chewy texture, while the Blueberry Chocolate had a subtle sweetness with blueberries and nuts as accents. Both were natural, not too sweet, and delicious. I would like to try other items on their menu someday.

I went there because it had good reviews on Tabelog. The appearance of the shop is a bit suspicious. It was around 12:30 pm, but they were almost sold out. I bought sesame bread, strawberry bread, and beet bagel. The strawberry and beet ones were very chewy and delicious. The Turkish bread didn't suit my taste. I wonder if they are a couple? The husband has a unique style. I've never seen anyone with a rainbow-colored beard before. But he seems kind. The bread is delicious, but just witnessing the world of these two makes you feel rich.

Atsun-ko Pan has an atmosphere that sets it apart from the usual bakeries. When you first see it, you might wonder if it's really a bakery. The bread is displayed in a case, but there are no staff around. A sign instructs you to go to the izakaya next door. Inside, a unique character with green beard appears. The bread I tried today was as follows: - Zunba-chan: A simple round bread with a slight sweetness from natural yeast, a popular vegan option priced at 120 yen. - Blood Orange: A refreshing sweet bread made with Fukuoka-grown blood oranges and soy milk orange cream, priced at 280 yen. Both breads had simple flavors without any unwanted tastes, typical of vegan options.

A bakery with delicious, dense and chewy bread. Located in Nihonbashi, surrounded by modern buildings and Showa-era mixed-use buildings. Despite being close to Otemachi, it has a nostalgic atmosphere with wooden houses and protruding eaves, under which photos are displayed. Inside, the bread is lined up. Since it's not very crowded, if you look around, a sign informs you that the staff is on the second floor and they come down to assist you, blowing a trumpet. It's really funny. The bread is dense and has a chewy texture when you eat it. It's delicious.

I felt nervous about having to call out to order bread, but it was a nice atmosphere in the shop. The price of bread ranged from 200 to 280 yen, and I bought a strawberry bread. It had a whole strawberry inside and was more tangy than sweet, but still delicious.

On weekdays at 1:00 PM, the place was already busy with 3 groups of customers, mostly office ladies. The "Tochiotome" strawberry tart was a perfect balance of sweet and sour flavors with a delicious custard cream and pastry. Surprisingly, it was not too heavy and easy to eat. The banana and date caramel dessert was sweeter with a generous amount of caramel sauce and walnuts. The date was a nice touch as it's not something I usually eat. The Kinako (soybean flour) and red bean bagel was dense and chewy, with a slight disappointment in the dryness of the red beans. However, the overall taste was delicious. I ended up buying another one as a souvenir because I wanted to try more flavors.
