I discovered a bakery near Hachioji after having lunch, where the eye-catching red-themed shop drew me in. The clean and attractive display showcased visually appealing bread. Since it caught my interest, I decided to take home a few. Although there was an outdoor seating area, no one was using it due to the heat. ('◇') The croissant had the shop's name attached, and I deemed it a recommended choice, so I brought it home. The buttery aroma and the crispy layers of the croissant were delightful. The baguette paired well with sake. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the curry bun this time, but perhaps another opportunity will arise. Enjoyed the delicious treats on September 16, 2023, through a takeout service. Rating: 3.75

Blue Blue Blanchely (Yokoyama-cho, Hachioji City, Tokyo) offers delicious bread with a delightful aroma of wheat. Try their Fran for ¥360. You can also check them out on Instagram at tsukasan777 and on Twitter at tsukasan2010.

Seeking delicious bread, I went on a tour of renowned bakeries! I visited this popular shop located a short walk from hachioji station. After passing through the shopping street with Don Quijote in Hachioji, it was in a quiet area! Delicious!! I'd definitely like to visit again if I get the chance.

Visited on September 3, 2023, at 13:30, at the renowned bakery in Hachioji, "Boule·Beurre·Boulangerie," known as one of the top 100 bread shops. I parked my car in a nearby coin parking lot as I did during my visits in 2022, 2020, 2019, 2018, and 2017. The eye-catching red, stylish exterior has changed since my followers mentioned a blue and red facade; now it's red on red. Perhaps a recent renovation? Inside, the sales are face-to-face, with a chic ambiance. The items I purchased this time include: - Danow Fruits (¥350): Crispy Danish pastry with a hint of chocolate coating, matching well with the berry's acidity. Rating: 3.8 - Boule·Boule (¥300): The shop's proud croissant, named "Boule·Boule." Crispy texture, rich butter aroma, addictive with reduced folds, increased butter, and a 72-hour aged dough. Rating: 4.6, and luckily, there was only one in the showcase! - An Coco (¥250) x2: Red bean with coconut filling. - Melon Pan (Hanamizuki) (¥250) - Baguette (¥330): A baguette with a slightly thin crust, crispy surface, and a soft inside with excellent texture and flavor. Toasting enhances its deliciousness. Rating: 3.7 - Rye Bread (Half) (¥360): Conveniently pre-sliced with impeccable flavor and texture. The service was excellent, with polite and attentive staff. I'd love to have the Boule·Boule croissant again; it's becoming my favorite. Despite the high hurdle of being closed on Mondays to Wednesdays, I'd like to visit again. Interestingly, it's close to the Ebiya Hachioji Main Store, where I visited eight years ago. "Boule·Beurre·Boulangerie" Address: 16-5 Yokoyamacho, Hachioji City, JR Hachioji Station North Exit - 8 minutes on foot, Keio Hachioji Station - 15 minutes on foot Business Hours: 11:00 - 18:30, Closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays

When I visited Hachioji, there was a famous bakery nearby, so I decided to check it out. When I passed by in the late morning, there was a bit of a line, but by the time I arrived, the line had cleared, and I went into the store right away. The interior was smaller than I expected, but I bought an AnCOCO curry bun, Kinako milk, Denmark mascarpone milk, and mango pudding. On the way back, I ate a bit in the car with my companion, and the highlight was the Anpan with sakura mochi inside – it was the best. I enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Popular bakery located in Hachioji. The name "Boule Berrue" means "round" and "butter" in French, evoking the image of a croissant with a soft buttery scent. At this bakery, croissants are referred to as "boule boule" and are made by fermenting the dough for 72 hours. All bread is baked using traditional European methods, resulting in a fluffy texture that allows you to fully enjoy the sweetness of the wheat. Location: 8 minutes walk from Hachioji Station Opening hours: 11:00-18:30, open on Sundays Closed: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays Crowd: Visited on a weekday afternoon and could order immediately. Ordered: Fruit (¥350), Melonpan (¥250), Scone (¥290). The bakery, with its red exterior reminiscent of those in Paris, and a white tent with the name, left a strong impression. Ordered three popular items: First, the melonpan had a gentle touch, with a fluffy texture that was enjoyable. The sweetness was moderate, and it crumbled softly, capturing the essence of melonpan appealing to both kids and adults. Next, the fruit had a firm outer layer with a chewy texture. Cranberries and walnuts were generously used, creating a delightful blend of cranberry tartness and dough sweetness. Lastly, tempted by the words "freshly made scone," it indeed had a rich aroma and a pronounced wheat sweetness, making it a perfect accompaniment to tea.

After a meeting in Hachioji, before lunch, I enjoyed the renowned croissant called "Blur Blur" at the famous Boule Beurre in Hachioji. Paired it with iced coffee from Starbucks. The croissant's quality is comparable to Maison Kaiser in its early days! Priced at 300 yen, it's worth every penny. I initially wanted to try Amami Chicken Rice at the closed-down traditional house along the Nomasu Road, near the Arai Kimono Store. Glancing at the closed store, I couldn't resist the urge for Amami Chicken Rice. Tried Gajumaru in Hashimoto, but they didn't serve it. In the end, this croissant became my lunch.

I stopped by on a whim on my way back from shopping for furniture in Hachioji. Since it was evening, I bought what was left. I couldn't resist and ate the corn bread I bought in the car. The corn bread is chewy and soft with a good salty taste. The sausage inside adds to the deliciousness, and I'm very satisfied with the combination of the flavors. When I got home, I toasted the fig and cream cheese ham baguette and the outrageous corn bread. It was amazing! The ham baguette is delicious with the strong salty taste of the ham alone. There's plenty of cream cheese inside the fig and cream cheese ham baguette, and I tore off pieces to dip in it. The fig also adds to the deliciousness. The outrageous corn bread is full of corn kernels that fly out when you bite into it, living up to its name. It has a strong salty taste, and it's delicious as it is. I'll definitely have to visit earlier next time. I like Taro Okamoto's works, and by chance, there was a limited edition Taroman bread for sale with posters. Only 8 available! Of course, they were sold out, but the staff said they would do it again. I definitely want to try it. Highly recommended!

I visited at 12:45 on Sunday. There were two other customers ahead of me, so I waited my turn while browsing the products. While bread and refrigerated items are self-service, the main items are served by the staff in a showcase style. The array of products is overwhelming. I bought Petit Bucket, Rustic, and Focaccia with Dried Tomato. PayPay is accepted.

From a two-tone color scheme of red and blue... to a unified red color scheme... When asked about the previous red-blue impression, it seems like not many people noticed. But it seems there's some significance. The interior of the shop has also been renovated. Last time I came, the bakery was closed irregularly or something, so I missed buying bread. But I discovered a dedicated butcher next door and found delicious items like beef tendons and croquettes. The shop has a sophisticated atmosphere reminiscent of a street in France, with bread, canelés, and baked goods arranged around, with numerous paintings giving a calm feeling. There's Banana Nut, shaped like bananas, not too hard but with cheese, nuts, and raisins giving it a firm texture. The cornbread has sweet corn scattered throughout, and with just butter, salt, and sweet corn, it's amazingly tasty with its soft texture. The Chocolate Ball has a fluffy chocolate dough with chocolate cream, delivering the expected sweetness without being too sweet, offering an elegant chocolate taste. The pricing is reasonable for this quality, with the chewy bread and other items also looking delicious.

We visited the bakery "Buur Buur" for the first time, based on the desire to occasionally visit a delicious bakery. We arrived around 11:05 and there were 3 people waiting ahead of us. Although there was no sign indicating a limit on the number of customers inside, the shop was not very spacious. About 5 or 6 people were inside, taking turns ordering from the staff. The style was such that when one person left, another person entered. We purchased various items including sandwich bread, baguette, croissants for lunch (from Buur Buur), curry bread (Focaccia), sausage bread (Shimauta), coffee-flavored pastries (Cafe), chocolate pastries (Pangato Chocola), bran, and fruit bread. We couldn't finish all of the sandwich bread and baguette, but everything was delicious. Especially the croissants stood out with their crispy exterior, fluffy interior, and a delicate texture that felt like eating glass with just the right amount of sweetness. Also, the Pangato Chocola was remarkable. It had a cream-like chocolate filling inside, resembling a cake. It was delicious. Ingredients were generously used, and the intricate craftsmanship was evident in every aspect, resulting in a harmonious blend. Particularly, large walnuts and almonds were used quite a bit. Normally, their bitterness might overpower the taste, but they complemented the wheat flavor of the bread quite well. (I believe the large walnuts were in the bran? The staff mentioned this when people bought them.) I would definitely like to visit again if given the chance.

The cost performance is extremely good! I traveled all the way to Hachioji. The red tent is a landmark, and even though it's a weekday afternoon, there were 5 people lined up! Lupin, lined up in the showcase, has an extremely good cost performance, and everything looks delicious. The combinations are genius. I want them all~ So I bought 6 of them~ What I bought was so good~ The taste is the best with this cost performance! It's fluffy, and there are plenty of dried fruits in the America Stardust and the berries are extremely delicious~♪ I also love the dough. The epice basil and bacon are a perfect combination. The Kuglof Olorom has a sour taste, and the combination of pickles and sausages is delicious. The Croque-monsieur has just the right amount of white sauce, and the ham, cheese, and bread are all deliciously soft. The bacon potato is fluffy, and the ham and mild-tasting mayonnaise are delicious. The croissant is crispy and buttery, just right and delicious! I want to go to this bakery again. It's extremely cheap! □ Atmosphere: Town bakery □ Congestion: Extremely crowded □ Payment: Card Rating criteria [Overall score, taste, service, atmosphere] 4.0 or higher: Want to visit regularly, confidently recommend to friends because it's so delicious 3.8 or higher: Want to revisit, can recommend to friends because it's so delicious 3.7: Possibility of revisiting in the future because it's so delicious 3.6: There are specialities that are delicious, or it's delicious enough considering the cost performance 3.5: Just delicious 3.5 or lower: Not recommended

Visited this shop on a Tokyo bread top 100 tour♡ ◆Access◆ 8 minutes walk from the station, feels a bit longer under the scorching sun (ˊᵕˋ ;) visited by car this time (*^^*) ◆Operating hours and atmosphere◆ Arrived around 11:30 on Friday, only about 3 people inside the shop. ◆Orders◆ Ameri, Blue Blue, Canel and Walnut ◆Details◆ Ameri is a croissant × cranberry. Blue Blue is the recommended bread with the shop's name (*´˘`*) Canel and Walnut had a taste like a sweet cinnamon tart with walnuts inside a softer dough♡ ◆Impressions◆ Ameri and Blue Blue are croissant-based but had a crispy texture yet moist enough not to crumble too much♡ Ameri had a refreshing sweetness and was delicious without being overwhelming. Canel & Walnut were also delicious even when chilled \(ˊᗜˋ*)/ The interior had an exciting arrangement of bread! A shop that bread lovers should definitely visit at least once♡

Shop Name: Blueblue Boulangerie Location: Hachioji I drove two hours round trip from Tokyo just to visit this bakery. It had a cute, bright red exterior reminiscent of a Parisian boulangerie. Inside, there was an array of delicious-looking savory breads lined up, making it hard to choose. And surprisingly, the prices were cheaper than bakeries in Tokyo! Despite the intricate craftsmanship, the cost performance was excellent. Croque Monsieur - 300 yen Curry Pan (Curry Bread) - 360 yen Blueblue (Signature Bread) - 300 yen Kukurofuorumu (Croissant) - 280 yen Meary (Pastry) - 370 yen The "Blueblue" is the bakery's signature croissant, crispy on the outside and moist inside with a delightful buttery flavor. The Curry Pan had curry generously spread on top, which was a unique and tasty twist. Kukurofuorumu was also soft and delicious. Meary had custard cream inside the croissant with a mix of raspberry flavor, almost like a dessert bread, and was incredibly tasty. Even though I've been to around 90 famous bakeries, the Croque Monsieur here ranks in the top three in terms of deliciousness! It's definitely worth the trip to Hachioji for these flavors!

I visited "Boule Beurre Boulangerie," a bakery in Hachioji, located an 8-minute walk from JR Chuo Line Hachioji Station. The shop, with its striking red exterior, gives the impression of being in a French town. The name "Boule Beurre Boulangerie" means "round," "butter," and "bakery" in French. True to its name, the interior is decorated in a French style, and they are known for delicious bread made with generous amounts of butter. Upon entering, you'll find a wide range of popular bread like curry bread, anpan, melon bread, as well as various artisan bread. The store layout is lively, surrounded by bread, canelés, and baked goods, with many paintings creating a vibrant atmosphere. I purchased the recommended bread this time: - "Pururu Pururu" (Croissant): Crispy on the outside, moist and buttery inside, it was exquisite. - "Fruit": Satisfaction is high with plenty of cranberries and walnuts. The dough has a good bite, making it very satisfying. - "Kugelhopf Olomu": The combination of tangy pickles and sausages is delicious. - Curry Bread: Curry generously topped on the bread; it's unique but very delicious. - "Bacon Potato": Potatoes are fluffy, and the ham with a gentle mayonnaise flavor makes it a deserving choice for a top bakery. It's no wonder this bakery is chosen as one of the top 100 bakeries. Every bread is delicious with a satisfying taste, and the variety is abundant, making me want to try various types of bread. Especially the croissants, focaccia series, and curry bread are definite repeats. It was very delicious! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I came to Hachioji, so I went to Blue Blue Blancherie to buy this week's shokupan. From the north exit of the JR station, walk along the Zelkova tree avenue to reach Koshu Kaido, then turn left and walk straight. When you reach Hachioji Kaido, turn right and you'll find the shop. It's the only bread shop in Hachioji listed in the top 100. The red exterior of the shop is quite striking. There's a wide variety of bread available, making it enjoyable to browse. I purchased a half loaf of Pain de Mie. The crumb is moist and the crust is soft. It tasted delicious toasted. It's difficult to evaluate without trying other bread, but I'm sure they're of high quality. Thank you for the meal.

【PanTOKYO2022 Top 100 Bakeries】A short walk from Hachioji Station, a stylish bakery with a red sign suddenly appears. I purchased several types of bread here, and here are my impressions: The purchased bread: - Walnut and Pepper Bread ¥350 - Tartine ¥420 - Blue Blue ×2 ¥580 - Seasonal Vegetable Focaccia ¥340 I started with the deli-style bread. However, I had recently tried outstanding deli bread at a top 100 bakery in Shin-Yokohama, so in comparison, none of them received particularly high praise. On the other hand, I didn't have high expectations, but the hard bread, especially the Walnut and Pepper Bread, was exceptionally delicious. The presence of walnuts and pepper was distinct, making it perfect even on its own or as a complement to wine. Upon rereading everyone's reviews later, I confirmed that, indeed, the hard bread received high praise. Well, everyone seems to know their stuff.

The staff are so polite that customers quickly choose their bread, but there's a strange slowness when it comes to payment. The shop is small, so only up to five people can enter at a time. It's only been two hours since opening, but quite a few items haven't sold yet. Maybe I'm sorry they're sold out. It might be best to go right at 11:00 a.m. when they open. The taste is excellent.
