There is a proverb that says "hunger is the best sauce," but perhaps we can say that "a view is the best seasoning"! Laughter. It doesn't quite come together well, but that's the feeling. The harmony of food, wine, music, view, conversation, all overlapping and coming together to create a work of art. This restaurant truly made me feel that. The city view from the top floor of the 50-story building is breathtaking, especially in the clear winter air. The food was recommended by the restaurant, and I couldn't capture it well in photos, unfortunately. Now, onto the fish and meat full course meal. Please refer to the menu in the image. It's a relief that there are no allergies or picky eaters in situations like this. (Although I accidentally forgot to take a photo of the fish dish, I couldn't resist starting to eat it because it smelled so good.) Oh, I also missed taking a photo of the amuse-bouche. Oops. The appetizer is salmon marinated with Shine Muscat and herb salad. The cream cheese has a faint citrus scent that is refreshing. It's light yet has depth, and it builds up the anticipation for the rest of the course. The seasonal chestnut potage soup is like a cappuccino, and it's fantastic. I would be satisfied and happy to leave after this. There was no sorbet palate cleanser, but since the fish and meat dishes had completely different sauce flavors, there was no need for it, and I actually enjoyed the flow. The pork with plum sauce was amazing. The dessert is a visually pleasing dish that women will love, no doubt. There was no espresso, but the coffee was deep, bitter, and rich enough. The tables were set up with a slight diagonal arrangement for social distancing, which showed thoughtfulness. The service was polite, cheerful, and enjoyable. There was a new staff member who seemed a bit awkward, but I thought, please practice at my table. It was nice to see her trying her best. Thank you for the meal.
