I arrived at the store around 10 am on Saturday. There were no other customers besides myself. It seemed like they were still preparing, as there were bagels with tags but not ready yet. I couldn't try the red bean paste one, which was a shame, but I bought a croissant, a yomogi red bean paste, and a chestnut sweet potato zunda sandwich. The total for the three items was around 1100 yen, which was a good deal. I tried the yomogi red bean paste right away, and the combination of the chewy dough with the red bean paste and chestnut was excellent.

This time, I couldn't reheat it, so I ate it as it is, but I think it would have been even more delicious if I had reheated it... The "Milk & Walnut French" has a very milky cream sandwiched between a chewy bread. The walnuts are kneaded into the bread dough, but there were only 2 pieces in my bread. If you like sweet bread, you will definitely like this! The "Fig & Orange" has large figs and a lot of orange peel. The acidity is just right, and the taste can be enjoyed until the end! This is my favorite this time. The "Natural Salt Bread" has a chewy texture and the salt flavor gently spreads in your mouth from the bottom dough. It may seem ordinary, but a salt bread that doesn't have an overpowering flavor is calming to eat! I visited a bakery that I had been curious about on the way to the station. I originally marked the shop for bagels, but since it was after lunch, I couldn't eat them right away, so I picked something other than bagels. They have a variety of bagels and other items like bread and sweets, so I would like to try them next time!

I visited in the evening so there were hardly any left, but I purchased this. The red bean butter sandwich with fig sandwich felt heavy. The red bean paste was not too sweet and easy to eat, while the butter added richness. The fig was juicy and the cream was mildly sweet and delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Crowdedness and Atmosphere on the Day of Visit - Visited around 10:25 on a weekday with no customers in front or behind - There is a workshop in the back, giving the atmosphere of a local bakery 4. Customer Service - Standard response as per the manual 5. Purchased Items - Mountain-shaped loaf of bread (1/2 loaf) for 440 yen - The shop in Shinbashi mainly sells bagels, but the main store did not have Pandomi bread. Nevertheless, the quality of the bread was excellent, with a soft texture when sliced. I had a brief conversation with the staff, and they mentioned that if I request a specific item at this shop, I can pick it up at the Shinbashi store. I went around 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon, and there were a few people inside the shop, but no line. They had a wide variety of bagels, even though some were already sold out. I ended up choosing the Cinnamon Raisin, Keema, and Basil Tomato bagels after much consideration. Each bagel had plenty of ingredients inside, and I was very satisfied. The bagels were chewy and not too dense. Near the register, they had a Pineapple Cheesecake which I also bought. It cost around 500 yen, but it was very filling and had a nice balance of flavors with the refreshing pineapple.

When I went to Blakes for curry, I suddenly discovered a variety of delicious bagels like carrot cake and donuts that caught my eye. However, I decided to stick with the classics and bought two bagels: Double Berry with White Chocolate and Walnut, and Red Bean Paste-filled. I have tried many bagels before, but the quality here was top-notch! I especially liked the White Chocolate one. There are still more places to explore in that area!

Visited a friendly bagel shop around 1 pm on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Discovered a variety of bagels and bread made with natural yeast and domestic wheat. Since there were many sweet bean paste-filled options, I decided to try a plain bagel (¥230) and a croissant (¥250) to take home. Warmed up the bagel, added a bit of butter, and tried it. It had a chewy and dense texture with a satisfying weight. The croissant was also chewy and rich. Overall, quite good.

Chewy bagels. So many varieties, I found myself standing in front of the bagels unable to decide. I chose the kinpira gobou and chestnut sweet potato flavors. Just holding them gives off a nice aroma, almost like a weapon. They are chewy and satisfying to eat, I like them. Bagels are so deep. In a corner of the shop, they were holding a bagel class, it was wonderful.

The weather was nice that day, so I took a walk from Omotesando to Shinjuku via Sendagaya. It was a leisurely day for a middle-aged person. My favorite Monmouth tea is a must, but I searched for other bakeries and found a bagel shop! Without hesitation, I changed my route. The shop had a small, cozy feel to it, typical of a place run by dedicated individuals. I arrived a bit late, so many items were sold out, but I managed to get a few things. It's a common occurrence at delicious bakeries like this to run out of items if you don't go early. I tried the salmon basil for ¥320, the wiener bagel for ¥330, pancetta for ¥280, kimpira for ¥320, camembert cheese for ¥220, and mentaiko for ¥320. I forgot the prices of some, but I also tried the curry one. I skipped the sweet items this time, but I should have bought a cake. The first ones I tried were the salmon basil and wiener bagel. They were delicious with plenty of filling! The dough was exactly how I like it, chewy! It was a jaw workout but I finished everything over two days. Overall, the quality was high! The dough was strong and filled with plenty of ingredients, making it delicious. The kimpira had lots of chunks and cheese. My favorite was the mentaiko! But all of them were delicious. I will definitely come back here. I'm confident in their savory options, so next time I'll try the sweet ones too! Thank you for the meal!

This shop is a bakery near the National Stadium that specializes in natural yeast bread. They make around 30 different types of bread, totaling about 300 pieces per day, with a wide variety of bagels in particular. On this day, after eating curry nearby and being intrigued by the decent rating of 3.6, I decided to try this shop for the first time. The entrance of the shop is narrow, but the interior is deep, with shelves displaying a variety of bread, especially the bagels. Among the selection, I purchased the following two types of bagels that caught my eye: - Orange Peel and Cream Cheese Bagel (320 yen): A bagel with a chewy texture filled with orange peel and cream cheese. The refreshing acidity of the ample orange peel and the rich cream cheese complemented each other well. - Pumpkin Bagel with Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Filling (330 yen): A pumpkin-flavored dough filled with pumpkin paste and chocolate chips. Filled with the natural sweetness of pumpkin, this flavor was also delightful. Both bagels were delicious. There were other appealing bagels as well, so I'd like to go back and buy more! However, it's a shame that this shop is difficult to access from any station. Just like the curry shop, it's frustrating to have a good restaurant that's hard to visit. Thank you for the meal.

I don't remember the prices. The bagels were all chewy and satisfying. The pumpkin plain had a subtle sweetness of pumpkin, which I personally liked. The berry and cream cheese had nuts in it, and it was delicious.

In front of the Jingu Shrine, #Tournage Zunda (sweet edamame paste) Butter, a bakery located a little outside of Harajuku with a nostalgic atmosphere. I had pre-ordered the Zunda Butter sandwich and went to pick it up the next day. The visual presentation was superb, and the taste was delicious. The bread is made with bamboo charcoal, giving it a fluffy and chewy texture. The Zunda paste had a nice grainy texture, although I wished it had a bit more sweetness. I pre-ordered the Zunda An Butter sandwich the day before and went to pick it up. The visual presentation was amazing. The bread is made with bamboo charcoal, giving it a fluffy and chewy texture. The Zunda An filling had a noticeable grainy texture, but as a big fan of Zunda, I wished it had a bit more sweetness. A takeout-only bagel shop located about a 10-minute walk from Metro Kitasando Station. The shop's selling point is the use of natural yeast and domestic wheat. We stopped by on our way from Shibuya to Harajuku, strolling through the neighborhood, thinking it was a local shop, but they also offer trendy products. We were looking for bagels to eat the next morning, but when we arrived on a Saturday evening after 6 pm, most of the items were already sold out. We purchased two strawberry cream buttercream bagel sandwiches from the few remaining trendy bagels. The next morning, we tried them. Even after a day, the bagels maintained their good aroma and moderate elasticity. The rich sweetness of the cream, the acidity of the strawberries, the refined sweetness of the red bean paste, and the saltiness of the butter harmonized perfectly. Enjoying all four flavors in one big bite or splitting the bagel sandwiches in two to savor the strawberry cream and bean butter separately - it's a versatile product that hits the spot. According to reviews, the bakery-style bagels are highly rated, so next time, we'd like to visit a bit earlier. Thank you for the meal. We'll be back.

I passed by a place called "BLAKES" on my way back from having curry, and decided to go in because the atmosphere seemed nice. It turned out to be a bagel shop. I didn't know they had branches here and in Toranomon as well. The small shop can only accommodate three groups at a time. It's constantly crowded with customers coming in one after another. You pick your items with a tray and tongs. They have a variety of bread, from hard bread like baguettes to sweet pastries like anpan and chocolate croissants, as well as around 15 different types of bagels. They also have bagel sandwiches with fruit fillings in the refrigerated case, which can be quite overwhelming. Here are some items I tried: Pumpkin Bagel with Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Anko for 330 yen - I thought it would taste like pumpkin, but it had pumpkin sweet bean paste inside. It was sweet and delicious. Chocolate Chip Bagel for 320 yen - sprinkled with powdered sugar and loaded with chocolate chips, a complete sweet pastry. The chewy bagel had chocolate chips inside, making it quite sweet and tasty. Anko Butter Bagel Sandwich for 400 yen - this is a high-calorie treat. Between the bagel halves, there's thick sweet red bean paste and butter. The sweet red bean paste pushes away any thoughts of dieting, while the butter's saltiness makes you forget about the word "diet".

On the way back from shopping alone, I saw a bakery and decided to go back. Normally, I would just pass by because it's always crowded, but today there were only 3 groups of people. With my wife's approval, I bought some bread that I liked. There was a classic croissant with chocolate, which looked nostalgic yet cute. When I got home, even though it was almost lunchtime, I couldn't wait and ate the chocolate bread. It was rich with chocolate, much more than I expected. It looked cute but had a strong flavor. The rest will be for the family's breakfast tomorrow. <Next day update> The croissant had a crispy surface and a buttery aroma throughout. Its small size made it easy to eat. The red bean filling in the bread was generous and not too sweet, so I couldn't stop eating until it was gone. I bought the following items to give it a try: Plain bagel, Yomogi red bean bagel, and Blueberry sandwich. They use natural yeast, and the dough and ingredients are delicious. The texture of the dough is easy to bite into, making it suitable for children and the elderly. However, it lacks the chewiness that some bagel enthusiasts may prefer. If you don't like jaw-straining bread, you might enjoy it. They also offer other types of bread and even carrot cake, so I'd like to visit again earlier next time. 3.60 out of 5 stars.
