キレートれもん
Actually, a revisit. The first time I thought, "Oh, it's French-inspired, huh" (sorry!) and ended up eating without taking any photos. But there was a lingering aftertaste that I couldn't forget. To put it mildly, it was delicious!!!! I want to eat it again! So, driven by the craving for this anpan, I came to Akabane again. Last time, I used the store in front of the south exit ticket gate, so this time I wanted to go to the other "downtown..." store, but even following the map app, I was guided to the store in front of the south exit ticket gate here. (Does "downtown..." really exist?) [Today's purchases] ◆ Sweet red bean & walnut @260 yen Similar to the anpan, red bean paste goes well with butter. Thanks to the butter in the Danish pastry, the red bean paste has even more depth. The crunchy texture of the walnuts is also good. With each bite, there is a piece of walnut, adding a nice crunch. When it's freshly baked, you can hear a crispy sound at the edge of the pastry, and feel the juiciness, I love it~ It seems high in calories, but it's addictively delicious. ◆ White bean paste & apple @250 yen Limited edition product. Is there salt sprinkled on the Danish pastry? The white bean paste is very rich. The white bean paste carries the scent of the apple, and it's delicious. I usually don't like white bean paste, but I was somehow moved. ◆ Smooth red bean paste & whipped cream @240 yen The taste is spot on. So comforting~ I was impressed when I had this last time too. The saltiness on the surface of the Danish pastry enhances the red bean paste. It's not as rich as it looks, not too sweet, rather light. Why is it a privilege only in Akabane? I want them to sell it at other stations too, but when they do, will they keep the name "Akabane anpan," or will it become "Jiyugaoka anpan," "Shinjuku anpan," "Toranomon anpan"? My imagination runs wild alone.
