Visited on a Saturday afternoon. My senior colleague highly recommended it and gave me a pudding as a souvenir, which was incredibly delicious, so I was curious to try it. The restaurant is located across the street from eggg Cafe Kodashi Honten. The nearest station is Hanakoganei Station, but it is a bit far from the station, so there were not many people even on a Saturday. (I heard that there can be long lines though...) I ordered the Half-cooked Demi-glace Omurice L (1,380 yen) and the Special Thick Carbonara M (1,350 yen), with an additional option to add mini pancakes for +470 yen, so I chose Mini Brulee and Mini Plain. Since there were no vegetables, I also added the eggg Salad (640 yen). *I came with my mother, so not all of the food was for me! The Half-cooked Demi-glace Omurice had a rich and runny egg, which paired well with the demi-glace sauce. The rice inside seemed like butter rice, and the chicken chunks made it very flavorful and delicious! The Special Thick Carbonara had a rich egg sauce, unlike any carbonara I've seen before! The combination of cheese and egg was excellent, and it was incredibly tasty. The chunky bacon and the slightly flat, fresh pasta noodles added to the uniqueness. The eggg Salad was also very delicious, but it only had 3 boiled eggs, so it would be nice to have more... The pancakes that could be added were souffle pancakes, making them easy to eat even after the meal! But the quality and quantity of the additional pancakes were beyond satisfying! The Brulee Pancake used a generous amount of their rich egg-flavored custard, making it fluffy and delicious. The simple Plain Pancake was a perfect match with butter and maple flavors on the souffle pancake batter. Both were equally delicious and it was hard to choose a favorite! These souffle pancakes probably couldn't be made without their proud eggs... If you want to enjoy the souffle pancake batter, go for the Plain, and if you want to enjoy the custard, go for the Brulee Pancake. You can also purchase items like roll cakes, cream puffs, pudding (two types - creamy and firm), egg tarts, chiffon cakes, etc., for takeout! I bought cream puffs and egg tarts as souvenirs for my senior and junior colleagues. The monthly deficit parfait (a parfait with plenty of fruits) is also very popular, and I think reservations are required. Anyway, you can enjoy incredibly delicious egg dishes here, so be sure to give it a try!
