At Tokyo Station in the early morning, I decided to buy breakfast on my way back, but the bakery I wanted to go to was still closed. I've used this bakery a few times before, and there's always a line. I bought the most popular dried fruit baguette, the second most popular freshly baked croissant, and my children's favorite, bacon and cheese bread! I want to mention the freshly baked croissant and the baguette! The croissant was crispy, with a rich buttery aroma and flavor, very satisfying! Even just one piece gives a satisfying feeling and a moderate feeling of fullness. The baguette has a strong bacon aroma and flavor, with a quite chewy texture, which is exactly my type. Even when going out, I want to eat delicious bread, and starting a trip from here feels great!

I always want to stop by when leaving Tokyo Station early in the morning. Croissants, croque-monsieurs, and something sweet. The croissant has the perfect blend of buttery aroma and softness. The croque-monsieur offers a rich taste of cheese; sometimes such sandwiches can have tough bread, but this one had plenty of ingredients and was impressive.

Located inside the JR ticket gates, on the basement 1st floor in the Gin no Suzu area. Visited around 8 a.m. on a weekday. The eat-in area had about 3 tables and 20 counter seats, almost full. There were around 20 people in line at the cashier. Managed to find a seat while waiting in line. It's all about timing. Ordered the morning set (croissant + small coffee) for 660 yen and a croque monsieur for 451 yen. The croissant got a bit burnt due to self-warming. The croque monsieur was a single-layer, not a sandwich. The morning set offers a choice between a croissant or pain au chocolat with a small hot or iced coffee. The impression of the eat-in area is either for quick bites or for lingering. It would be good if people could be more considerate given how crowded it gets.

I visited "BURDIGALA TOKYO" located inside Tokyo Station. Just like "Tsuruse," which won the "Tabelog Bread TOKYO Top 100 2022" award, I had my friend buy bread for me this time. They said, "I always take the Shinkansen from Tokyo Station, so I prefer a shop nearby." That's why I chose Burdigala this time. Although there's a branch in Osaka, I hadn't tried their croissants yet, so I wanted to give it a go... Well, I didn't end up getting a croissant this time. Instead, I got: - Pain au Chocolat: Instead of the croissant, I got this one. The crust is super crispy, and the inside is fluffy! The chocolate is rich, making it a high-quality pastry overall. - Sweet Potato and Apple Danish: It's a seasonal item. The crust is also crispy, which is nice. Surprisingly, the apple isn't too sweet and doesn't overpower. Overall, it leans towards the sweet potato flavor. Although it's a sweet bread, the dough has a good amount of salt sprinkled on it, resulting in a well-balanced taste that doesn't get boring. Overall, all the bread here is of high quality and truly delicious! Next time, I definitely want to try the croissant. Thank you for the meal. *I forgot to take a picture, so there's no photo of the Pain au Chocolat.

I had a chocolate croissant, a croque-monsieur, and an iced café latte for dining in. The chocolate croissant had a delightful crispy texture with a good amount of chocolate. It was deliciously crunchy. The croque-monsieur, with ham, béchamel sauce, and cheese, had a great combination of flavors. The latte was also tasty, making for a satisfying meal. It's a bit pricey, but considering it's Tokyo Station, it's understandable. Thank you for the meal.

I purchased the Petit Reine's An Butter and Hiroo's Choux Cream with Cassis Marron Cream. Both were crispy and delicious since the cream is filled after purchase. The Cassis Marron Cream had a delightful balance of sweetness and sourness with a noticeable chestnut cream flavor. It's a limited-time offer but it was a new deliciousness for chestnut lovers! The An Butter was consistently delicious! Sometimes they sell out quickly, so I finally got to try it! Both have generous portions, so you'll be really full! There are many types of bread, so it's hard to choose, but I always enjoy them without disappointment. If you have a specific item in mind, I think the best time to go is in the morning!

・Ségle Fruits 1/2 for 394 yen ☆Ranked No.1 with 3.4 stars. The dough, made with rye, is filled with plenty of raisins, figs, orange peel, currants, and walnuts. The balance of ingredients is excellent, not overly sweet, and very tasty. Surprisingly soft dough, toasting it gives a thin, crispy outer layer, making it easy to eat. While the inside may feel slightly dry when eaten as is, toasting it makes it moist and chewy, so toasting is recommended. ・Croissant for 324 yen ☆Ranked No.2 with 3.6 stars. Crispy and light texture on the outside, slightly yellow and uniformly layered yet moist inside. Rich in butter, offering a delicious sweetness and saltiness. Though a bit greasy to touch, it's not oily and can be devoured effortlessly. A croissant that makes you want to keep coming back for more.

I visited a bakery inside Tokyo Station to buy breakfast to eat on the Shinkansen. I purchased freshly baked croque monsieur and a Tokyo-exclusive cream Danish from Credira. The croque monsieur was packed with cheese and had a satisfying texture. The Credira cream Danish had a crispy pastry filled with creamy custard subtly flavored with rum, not too sweet but elegant. It's a convenient bakery located within Tokyo Station.

Tokyo Station alone offers a lot of enjoyment. Even expanding to the area around Tokyo Station, you can enjoy walking to Ginza and Shinbashi. It's selected as one of the top 100 bread shops. The pain au chocolat and croissants are incredibly delicious. They have a moist texture and a bitter flavor. Tokyo Station is truly amazing.

"GRANSTA Tokyo" at Tokyo Station spans two floors, the first floor and basement floor, covering an area of 11,300 square meters with approximately 150 gourmet-focused stores. Among them, "BURDIGALA TOKYO" stands out as a renowned bakery offering freshly baked bread and a cozy dining space. I stopped by and bought six pieces of bread to enjoy with coffee. Here's what I got: - Corrasion: A delicious bread made with Viennese dough and fermented butter, filled with milk cream. - Croissant: A fragrant croissant made with fermented butter, offering a crispy exterior and a fluffy interior. They bake it four times a day to ensure freshness. - Croque-monsieur: A bread topped with roast ham, béchamel sauce, and cheese, baked to perfection. - Croissant aux amandes: An almond croissant filled with custard cream and topped with almond butter cream, enhancing its deliciousness. - Petit Lait Butter: A moist and delicious bread made with whey, filled with fermented butter and Camembert cheese paste. - Shu cream from Hiroo: This cream puff is injected with cream after purchase, providing a crispy crust and delicious cream when eaten fresh. Overall, the bread is exceptionally delicious, and the desserts are of high quality. The dining space is a great service, allowing customers to enjoy freshly baked bread before their journey. The deliciousness remains even after some time, making it a perfect souvenir. It's a fantastic place worth visiting.

I stopped by a bakery before heading home on the Shinkansen to visit my parents. It's located on the basement floor of Gransta. The store is always bustling with people, and they have a wide variety of bread. Drawn in by the sign saying "freshly baked," I chose a croque-monsieur and a sweet corrasion. *Croque-monsieur* *Corrasion* *Café latte* I decided to eat inside the store and quickly tried the croque-monsieur. The surface of the bread was crispy, and it had a generous amount of melted cheese. There were two slices of ham underneath. Besides the cheese, there was a sweetness from what seemed like white sauce, and most importantly, it was freshly made. Next, I tried the corrasion. It had a chewy and fluffy texture. Inside, the pleasant scent of fermented butter and the delicious sweet cream made it really tasty. They also had seasonal limited-time menus using chestnuts, and some items were marked as popular on the sign. I would like to try those menus next time. I had a pleasant moment before returning home.

Today, I picked up a takeout of the limited-time Cassis Marron Cream Choux from a bakery inside Tokyo Station. Cassis! &... Marron!? My two favorites combined, I'm in love ❤️. Fell for the purple cassis cream at first sight because of its eye-catching pop. It's exciting! You only grab the choux pastry, and after purchasing, they fill it with cream right behind the cash register. Once home, I immediately gave it a try. The choux is the type covered with a crispy cookie. It's quite large and generously filled with cream. Oh... The sweet and sourness of the cassis and the rich sweetness of the chestnut cream match perfectly. Ah, happiness~. 648 yen per piece!? Yeah, that's expensive!!! But the satisfaction it brings makes it worth it, definitely a repeat choice for me. Thank you for the meal.

This bakery is simply impressive with its strong qualities, reminiscent of a top-tier sports team. Everyday bread like sausage-filled pastry and bacon with onions and cheese on baked bread are surprisingly delicious. As expected, even the extraordinary bread with dried fruits or nuts is tasty. They put effort into seasonal limited editions, making it a bakery where you'd want to visit frequently to try all kinds. The staff is also energetic and pleasant.

I visited on Saturday evening. The shop inside the station had a wide variety of bread available regardless of the time. It was bustling, but I was able to purchase quickly. There were many conventional types of bread, and I bought croissants, among others. They were delicious.

I bought a pumpkin and chicken sandwich along with a Danish pastry filled with custard cream. The chicken in the sandwich had a unique tenderness not found in regular sandwiches and was delicious! The Danish pastry was also freshly baked, crispy, and incredibly tasty! I definitely want to go back to this place again.

This is a bakery selected as one of the top 100 stores in Gransta. They have an eat-in space and serve drinks like coffee. They also offer Western-style sweets like cookies, and I almost ended up buying a lot. I tried their popular No.2 croissant to go, and it exceeded my expectations in terms of taste. I definitely want to eat it again! ◎

I bought a croissant for about 300 yen because I was feeling hungry. It had just been made, but by the time I got it, it had cooled down a bit. While it smelled nice with butter and wheat, the taste of the bread itself was not very pronounced, leaving me somewhat unsatisfied. Other bread options also cost over 300 yen each. Despite high expectations from its reputation, it felt like I chose it mainly because it was conveniently located in the train station and looked visually appealing.

Visited around 11:30. No wait. Chose cream puff and Petit R. Cream puff had a crispy cookie crust. Could choose from two creams; chose custard this time. Elegant taste. Petit R had a Camembert cheese with a scent similar to blue cheese, and as someone who likes both, it was delicious. However, it's a bit pricey, over 900 yen for the two.
