I brought overseas customers and the skill of bringing out the excellent combination of fresh fruit juice and Japanese sake to create the best cocktails is outstanding! The customers said they must stop by every time they visit Japan. Next time, please try the 6-course menu!

A stunning 7-cocktail course! Gen Yamamoto, which accepts reservations from a week ago and is open from 15:00 in the afternoon. I've been wanting to go for a long time and finally managed to visit on a weekday at 15:00, as it's always been fully booked. You can choose from 4-7 cocktails on the course, and I didn't hesitate to select 7. Each cocktail is small in quantity and not too high in alcohol content, with a duration of about 1 hour for 4 drinks and 1.5 hours for 7. The balance of alcohol and fruit in each drink is wonderful, and they melt in your mouth. The cute and unique vessels for each drink are also a nice touch. It's a sensation I've never experienced before, and it's very popular with overseas tourists. I definitely want to bring my friends here when the opportunity arises.

This bar opens early and allows you to enjoy not just one drink before dinner, but around 5 drinks. They offer interesting combinations such as gin from Finland or Canada, various liqueurs, and wasabi. I had fun discovering that cider with apple and plum go well together! The photo is a drink made with sweet potato shochu and kiwi.

When you think about it, it's not surprising, but I had never encountered a cocktail course like this before. Depending on the season and the fruits available at the time, Mr. Yamamoto creates a cocktail course. The day we visited, the place was reserved just for us, so we chatted a lot. I found out that he trained as a bartender in New York before opening this place. I heard that before the pandemic, they used to have customers from overseas as well, which explains the fusion of Japanese and Western decor. He's really skilled at using fruits in cocktails, not just with hard liquor but with a variety of alcohols.

It's been 4 years since my last visit, and back then I could get in without a reservation. But now, with many foreign visitors, it's always full and I was turned away without a reservation. Due to the current pandemic, foreign visitors can't come to Japan, so I decided to make a phone reservation. Thanks to the pandemic, I was able to visit after 4 years. Mr. Yamamoto's bright smile welcomed me. The meal takes 1.5 hours, so let's enjoy a cocktail leisurely. The "Pear and Helsingfors Fiskehamns Akvavit Cocktail" was delicious. The "Ume Plum and Osuzu Gin Cocktail" was also great. The "Grape and Vodka Cocktail" was smooth and creamy. The "Prune and Pisco Cocktail" reminded me of my trip to South America. The "Peach and India Pale Ale Cocktail" was a perfect mix of sweetness and bitterness. I had a great time chatting with Mr. Yamamoto. I look forward to visiting again when I'm in Azabu-Juban.

This is a very favorite shop of mine. It has a small number of seats and is very popular among foreigners, making it difficult to get in. However, due to the pandemic, there are fewer foreign visitors, so I was able to visit after a long time. The shop mainly offers cocktail courses. Of course, the cocktails are chef's choice. Each cocktail is carefully crafted and surprises you, making it a very enjoyable and delicious course. I highly recommend experiencing it.

There is a bar nearby that I know, so I decided to stop by. The exterior looks like a traditional Japanese restaurant. When I opened the door, I was greeted by the soothing scent of Japanese cypress wood. The interior had a large wooden counter and a cozy, spacious atmosphere. It felt like being surrounded by the forest while enjoying a drink. The cocktail course offered 4 drinks for 4600 yen, with an additional 1000 yen charge. The prices were clearly displayed including tax, which was great. The system was unique, where you choose a course of 4, 6, or 7 cocktails instead of ordering individual drinks. The first drink was a plum and sweet potato shochu cocktail, refreshing and not too sweet. The second drink was a green orange and cherry brandy, with a hint of shiso adding a nice touch. The third drink was a corn and junmai daiginjo sake, with a surprising accent of sansho pepper. The fourth drink was a watermelon and Martinique rum, served with green beans and kinako. The watermelon was in sherbet form and paired well with the rum. Overall, the drinks, atmosphere, and experience were very relaxing and enjoyable.

Zabujuu is a hidden gem located just a 2-minute walk from Toriizaka Shita. Upon entering through the curtain, you will find a large wooden counter, elegant tea-colored walls, and soft downlights. In the back, you'll see Gen Yamamoto in a white jacket. The menu offers a four-course meal for 4,600 yen, a six-course meal for 6,800 yen, a seven-course meal for 7,900 yen, and dried sweets for 600 yen. I opted for the four-course meal priced at 4,600 yen. The first drink served on a plate adorned with hydrangeas was a harmonious blend of craft gin and plum acidity, with diced cucumbers adding a refreshing touch. The second drink, a cocktail made by hand-crushing fresh tomatoes with a pestle, offered a delightful marriage of the tomatoes' earthiness and high sugar content. The third drink, a cocktail of raw corn and sake, was surprisingly rich, almost like a thick potage with a solid Japanese twist. The final drink, an orange liqueur granita with paprika topping, provided a refreshing and impactful finish. Each cocktail was uniquely enchanting and perfect for those who appreciate bold flavors. I can't quite put it into words, but each drink was truly captivating. I look forward to bringing my daughter to this hidden gem next time!

I visited the restaurant again with a friend. They offer a variety of cocktails, from easy-to-drink ones to ones with a punch. It may not be suitable for those looking to get drunk, but it's a good choice for those who want to enjoy cocktails. If you want to have a slightly more adult way of drinking, this is the place to go. Thank you for the meal!

This is a hidden gem of a bar located near Azabu-Juban Station, just a short walk from Toriizaka. Upon entering, you will see a beautiful wooden counter with a traditional Japanese curtain hanging in the entrance. The owner, Gen Yamamoto, offers a unique cocktail course where you can choose from a 4-course option for 4,600 yen, a 6-course option for 6,800 yen, or a 7-course option for 7,900 yen. Instead of choosing your own drinks, you will be served a variety of cocktails in a course format. The cocktails are creative and surprising, with the alcohol content and portion size being moderate. The fruity cocktails are given a Japanese twist, making them refreshing yet satisfying. The pace is relaxed, so it's best to visit with plenty of time to spare. The bar is popular among foreigners, with many of the customers being non-Japanese. Reservations are essential before visiting. Overall, this is a wonderful bar where you can fully enjoy Gen Yamamoto's unique world of cocktails.

It's worth visiting once as it's interesting. You can drink unique cocktails. The prices are a bit high. It's not a place for conversation, so it's better to plan who to go with.

A rather unique bar located in the Asakusa shopping street. Despite being a bar, it is on the first floor and not dark inside. It feels more like a tea house than a bar. The bottles are not neatly lined up on the counter, but scattered around. The menu consists only of cocktail courses. It's a very interesting place worth visiting. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable. The bartender explains rare drinks while making each cocktail carefully. The introduction of the drinks is well done, making the drinks even more appealing. The cocktails are delicately flavored, like enjoying Japanese cuisine. It's not suitable for those who want to drink a lot, but rather for those who may not like alcohol. The quantity is small, so it's a place to relax and savor while listening to the bartender's stories.

The course only unfolds. The master creates using ingredients that I had never thought of as a cocktail, tailored to the season. It is a high-quality taste.

You can enjoy unique cocktails that you can't find elsewhere, like oyster cocktails or cocktails made with cherry blossoms. It may be a bit hard to find such places, but with Google, there's no problem. This is also a place that should be visited with a woman. It's like, "Want to go somewhere because you're not quite satisfied with the drinks?" If you're taken to a place like this, you might think, "Wow, they know some stylish places." It's definitely not a place to go with guys.

I was able to relax and enjoy a course that was almost the same as alcohol even when I couldn't drink alcohol, which was great. It was nice that they open from 3pm. The menu only offers a choice between a 4-drink course or a 6-drink course, all of which are light alcoholic beverages. There seemed to be many tourists.
