177th! The SG Club - A Bar Worth Visiting [Ordered Items] - SAMURAI'S PLEASURE 2,750 yen - BATHTUB YUZU DROP 2,640 yen Service charge 10% Total 5,929 yen (incl. tax) The bartenders unanimously recommend The SG Club, a famous bar with a refined atmosphere. I finally visited this place that caught my interest! The reason for their recommendation becomes clear once you visit. This time, I visited the underground bar called SIP. The interior and atmosphere of the place exuded a sophisticated Japanese vibe, making it incredibly moody! The cocktails we tried were delicious, showcasing a level of quality that sets it apart from other bars. If you're unsure what to order for your drink, I recommend trying the BATHTUB YUZU DROP. It's a sweet and refreshing fruit cocktail. The other cocktail menu items have interesting and creative names as well! Another fun aspect was the BGM in the restroom. Be sure to listen to it when you visit! A high-quality cocktail bar with a playful touch! I highly recommend stepping foot into this space at least once. "The SG Club" is located about a 9-minute walk from Shibuya Station. It is the shop of Shingo Shimazaki, who won the world cocktail championship. The interior is divided into three floors, each with a different atmosphere. The first floor, "Guzzle," has a casual vibe. The basement floor, "Sip," is a unique space inspired by Japanese culture where you can enjoy drinks slowly. The second floor, "Savor," is a VIP lounge where members can enjoy cigar and cocktail pairings. The cocktail "Speak Low," which won the Bacardi Legacy Cocktail Competition in 2012, starts with making matcha. It has a refreshing taste, perfect for adult drinkers. I have been curious about this place for a while because my foreign friends have been raving about it. I now understand why - their drink selection is truly unique. They take their alcohol seriously and every drink is delicious and beautifully presented. I may not have the courage to try some of the more unusual drinks with dashi, but I look forward to trying something different next time. It can get quite crowded, so I wish it was a bit more accessible for regular visits.

A bar in Shibuya. We used it as our second stop. There were many foreign customers, so it seems to be a well-known place. It was full, but we only had to wait about 5 minutes to get in. The bar had a dim and stylish atmosphere. There were various cocktails available, and my friend and I shared about 6 different cocktails in total. Some of the cocktails had funny names, but they were surprisingly delicious. It was a series of pleasant surprises to see how mixing this and that could create such flavors. It was a very refreshing experience. I would love to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Anyway, the menu naming at this bar is shocking. "Wagyu Charlie Brown," "Japanese-style Piña Colada," "Dirty Mango," and more. I highly recommend experiencing this unique restaurant. There are many people from overseas, and various languages are spoken. This time, our neighbor was a tourist from France.

After enjoying authentic Chinese cuisine in Ueno, we chose to visit SG Club in Shibuya for a drink. Located about a 10-minute walk from Shibuya Station, it's tucked away in a small alley near Line Cube. The owner is Japanese, but the bar is actually a branch of Speak Low in Shanghai, consistently ranked among the top bars in the world/Asia since its opening. The bar is small but spread over three floors, with a smoking area outside. Arriving around 10 pm that night, indoor seating was temporarily unavailable so we sat at the outdoor smoking area. Most of the customers are foreigners, so the staff speak fluent foreign languages, and there are also several Chinese-speaking staff members, so communication is not an issue. We each ordered two cocktails: No.1 Cup, Pina Colada, Cold Brew Martini, and Golden Gai. Compared to Speak Low in Shanghai, there are more Japanese elements incorporated here. The cocktails are of high quality, with the Pina Colada surpassing many Western cocktails. Prices range from around 1,500 to 2,000 yen, similar to the Shanghai main branch, making it relatively affordable. If you find yourself in Shibuya at night, enjoying two drinks here is a great choice.

Reservation: Not required Wait time: None Number of visitors: 2 people Duration of stay: 2 hours Price: 5000 yen per person One of Japan's most popular bars among international visitors. They have a variety of original cocktails that you can only enjoy here, all of them delicious and fun to choose from as you can't imagine what they taste like just by looking at the menu. Highly recommend the Number One Cup Super Lychee Martini and the Imo Shakai cocktail.

Ranked 18th in the world! The bar has different drink menus on the basement floor, first floor, and second floor. It blows away the concept of cocktails you knew before. And it's incredibly crowded. Is this really Japan? You can hear a lot of English, and it seems like more than half of the people are foreigners. The price of a drink may seem quite high for the average Japanese person, but it seems appropriate for foreigners. The names of the drinks are poetic and don't make any sense at all. Haha. So, you order something based on the ingredients listed, but you can't predict the taste at all. However, all the original cocktails exceed your expectations. It creates a completely original space with a sense of no nationality, blending essences from Japan, Asia, somewhere in Europe, and more. It's been a long time since I was so surprised at a restaurant. Ah, this is the future of Japan. I felt that it was running ahead of the times. Just when I thought cocktail culture was declining, it turns out it's exploding in places I didn't know. Amazing. Thank you for the meal!

I finally made it to SG Club, a bar in Shibuya. It's about a 15-minute walk from Shibuya Station. There are 2F, 1F, and B1F, and I was guided to B1F. I never expected to get in without a reservation, but it's worth a try. The cocktail names were all interesting and got me excited.

The SG Club is a 10-minute walk from Shibuya Station. I went there with my company colleague, M, who recommended it. It was Saturday night at 9 pm and the place was packed. We waited for 15 minutes before getting a table in the basement. The interior of the bar was luxurious and there was a mix of different layouts on each floor. We were the only Japanese customers, surrounded by foreigners. The atmosphere was like being in a different world, with stylish decor and English conversations mixed with trendy Western music playing in the background.
