"つけめん しんちゃん," a popular tsukemen (dipping noodles) restaurant in Tokyo Kamata, opened a new branch this month. I visited it for lunch after a nearby appointment. "宮元," where this new shop originates from, is well-known and comes from the equally famous "一燈" in Shinkoiwa. Despite the lunch rush, we were able to get in smoothly, raising hopes for the further spread of tsukemen culture in Sapporo.
The menu offers both tsukemen and ramen, but I ordered the recommended special tsukemen. The thick homemade noodles paired with the rich, umami-packed dipping broth clearly reflected the skills acquired at famous Tokyo establishments. Personally, I enjoy this type of tsukemen, so I wasn't too concerned about the price, but at 1350 yen, opinions on its cost-effectiveness may vary. Additionally, opting for extra noodles could increase the cost. It's worth keeping an eye on whether this Tokyo-style tsukemen can gain acceptance in the northern land of Hokkaido. #Sapporo #Hokkaido #HokkaidoLove #Gourmet #えのログ"
