chappytsum
"2023.8 Chappystum, who strangely liked the phrase "A Night Not Suitable for Tabelog Activity" inspired by Atsuya Higashikawa's detective novel "A Night Not Suitable for Exchange Murder," had planned to make this day an alcohol-free day. Surprisingly, Chappystum is someone who likes to manage their schedule meticulously, following the pattern of not drinking two days ago, drinking yesterday, not drinking today, drinking tomorrow, not drinking the day after tomorrow. However, it turns out that the term for the day after tomorrow varies by region. Chappystum thought it was "明々後日" (shiasatte), but in some regions, it's called "弥の明後日" (yanoasatte). Additionally, Chappystum thought the day after "明々後日" is called "五明後日" (goasatte), mainly used in western Japan. It seems regional differences abound. Just for fun, Chappystum would like to include this, too! (laughs) So, let's talk about "Lucky Pierrot Bay Area Main Store."
Actually, the plan for dinner that night was to go to a curry restaurant. As usual, Chappystum checked on Google Maps and confirmed that the regular closing day was Sunday before visiting, but there was a notice of temporary closure posted. (¬_¬) When luck deserts you like this, you tend to become even more cautious. However, since it was a day planned for not drinking alcohol, Chappystum hesitated to enter a restaurant where drinking was expected, and thought, "Well, let's just go to Lucky Pierrot." (laughs) But when I got to the Hakodate Station Front Store, there was a long line outside the store. (¬_¬) I felt frustrated and decided to walk towards the Kanemori Warehouse area. When I reached the point where Lucky Pierrot and Hasegawa Store were side by side, I planned to go into the less crowded one, but it turned out that Lucky Pierrot had more space available.
Inside the store, one of Lucky Pierrot's signature obachan (older lady) staff members was diligently wiping the tables after meals, but they didn't clean the floor (no time for that), so there were quite a few sesame seeds from burger buns scattered around. It's a bit concerning, isn't it? (^^;) Chappystum ordered the Chinese Chicken 2-layer Nori Bento (Small) for 605 yen (tax included). It's an interesting concept to eat Chinese chicken with rice. Since it's soy sauce flavored, it goes well with rice, but Chappystum still feels that Chinese chicken tastes better when eaten in a burger. (laughs) Nevertheless, it's still quite delicious. Chappystum also ordered Lucky Galana for 176 yen (tax included). Lucky Pierrot doesn't give you a glass! (laughs) Compared to the familiar Galana from a major beverage company, it's a bit sweeter. It's a taste that you occasionally crave."
