In the "Current Edition," there has been one new post since May 2023, reducing the total number of restaurants to 25. Four days ago, on 8/18 (Fri), I made a reservation through "Ikyu Restaurant" and visited from the Yurakucho branch of Hamano-ya Parlor. The interior of the restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere with an ocean view. There are 36 terrace seats along the Tokyo Bay, and a total of 80 spacious seats, including 44 tables on the left side upon entering. There were no other customers during my visit. Afterward, only one couple of two people entered, and it was very empty. The clientele consisted entirely of women. The service was provided by two male staff members who were very polite. The menu includes a lunch course priced at ¥5,300 (tax included) which includes 2 alcoholic beverages, bread, appetizer, soup, main course, dessert, and coffee. You can choose from four types of alcoholic beverages: sparkling wine, red wine, white wine, and beer. I ordered the ¥5,300 lunch course, which included sparkling wine, colorful tomato and seafood marinade, cold corn potage, bread with orange butter, grilled Kirishima pork with seasonal aroma, red wine, Shine Muscat tart, and cappuccino. The total serving time was approximately 54 minutes, with the order placed at 11:46, sparkling wine served 2 minutes later at 11:51, appetizer at 12:00 (16 minutes later), soup at 12:03 (19 minutes later), bread (1st serving) and butter at 12:07 (23 minutes later), bread (2nd serving) at 12:13 (29 minutes later), main course at 12:19 (35 minutes later), red wine at 12:36 (52 minutes later), dessert at 12:38 (54 minutes later), and coffee. The first alcoholic beverage was sparkling wine. The appetizer consisted of a colorful tomato and seafood marinade, served on a long white plate with the restaurant's name. It featured a terrine of summer vegetables and tomatoes, accompanied by squid, snow crab, striped mackerel, radish, watercress, and okra, garnished with red tomato sherry vinegar sauce, green basil sauce, white sakura cherry sauce, and black balsamic sauce. It was very delicious. The soup was a cold corn potage served in a glass shaped like an inverted triangle, with the cold corn potage soup inside and decorative toppings on the surface. It was delicious. The bread was soft and tasty, served with regular butter, and additional walnut bread was provided upon request. The main course was grilled Kirishima pork with seasonal aroma, presented on a large round dish adorned with gold and black. It included grilled seasonal vegetables such as baby corn, Shishito peppers, gobō (burdock root), and radish, along with three generous servings of grilled Kirishima pork. It was garnished with carrot sauce and red wine sauce. The Kirishima pork was large, tender, and very delicious. The second alcoholic beverage was red wine. The dessert was a Shine Muscat tart, served on a large oval dish with Shine Muscat tart and yogurt ice cream, garnished with caramel sauce. It was delicious. The coffee was a cappuccino. The restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere with an ocean view. Credit card payment was available. The ¥5,300 lunch course includes 2 alcoholic beverages, bread, appetizer, soup, main course, dessert, and coffee. The service was attentive, and the food was delicious, with a wonderful ocean view.
